Good news! We are moving to a room without bunkbeds.

I explained that even though I didn't request a specific type of bedding we really can't fit on the bunkbeds with our kids being so big. The CM was nice about it and found us a room. So we packed up and stored our luggage. Hopefully we can get into the new room early afternoon.

Those bunk beds really are too small for older teens. My daughter couldn't sit up in bed and read in the lower bunk

Oh my goodness. If something crazy is going to happen then it always happens to us.

We came back from Epcot, went up the the lounge, our new room is ready, hooray!!! So we go get our luggage and head off to our room only to discover it is at the very end of the hall and isn't a club room. No robes, no special toiletries, no light up makeup mirror, etc. So we know we are just about to venture down the same road as last May at the YC when they put us in a different floor. No nightly turn down, etc. So I go back to the desk and kindly ask if we could please have a club room, or if nothing is available could they move us. Long story short, we are now in our third and hopefully final room! Crazy!!!!!!

We finally got confirmation the weight limit is 150 pounds for the top bunk. So it looks like we were close to renaming this the Murphy Kingdom Lodge if it would have collapsed last night!!!!!

It does seem as if your family has had a statistically higher number of room problems than the average guest would have. But didn't you get some good pixie dust from the YC room mess?

Love our new room! Getting rid of those bunkbeds has made a world of difference!! The room feels more open and everyone now has a place to sit and relax.

We considered requesting bunk beds at the Grand Californian at DL because the boys don't like to sleep together, but I don't think the beds will be big enough for them.

2nd and 3rd rooms both quite a walk. We are kudu now, so at least we can take the stairs to and from the lounge to shave a bit of time off. But it takes about 4 minutes total.
