can I ask another hair ?? - I have VERY fine, thinning hair (thank you lupus)...I've used Nioxcin for awhile...but I don't really get the results I want. I still have hair growth, just very slow.....any thoughts on product

& if my hubby comes looking for you while I'm at WDW & the Visa bill comes in.......

Have you ever tried Matrix Amplify's line, though? I can REALLY get my hair 'bigger' when I use that stuff. Maybe alternate. Their root lift is sent from Jesus, himself - I know it.

Amplify makes a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. Color XL

I went to buy a couple bottles but accidently picked up the regular Amplify I like how it puts the body in my hair. Next time I will remember to pick up the color XL version since my hair is colored, but I haven't really noticed a difference in my hair.

Everyday - no matter what S&C I use - I get out of the shower, towel dry and put on:


Some sort of shine solution (TiGi After Party, Goldwell shine, Biosilk - whatever one closest matches the 'scent' of whatever S&C I used )

I then - throw my hair up into a towel, while I do my makeup - then when Im done I remove said towel and put on:

Sebastian Potion 9 (which I think you'd benefit from, too)

Then - I always use a root lifter. I just make striped down my head with my pinky and spray each root-row with it. Amplify's just happens to work VERY well. (and dont bother with the Sally's Generic brand one.... works like crap)

Then I rub my roots/scalp to distribute it, and I blow dry - then flat iron.

After I flat iron Ill add a bit more shine to my 'edges' to prevent fuzzies.

And that's it. Sometimes I'll use a little hair spray - sometimes Ill use an all over shine spray - just a squirt or two, into the air and I walk through it.

Ok, now taylor all this hair talk for girls with lots of curls! What's the best for the curls to prevent frizz and still give lots of body and shine.

BTW Cat ~ I am really enjoying the dumb blonde!

Yeah - it's nice.

I dont have curly hair - so my advice isnt going to be as good as someone elses - however, I do know curly hair (especially BLONDE curly, Miss S*x Kitten) needs moisture.

I'd always stick with S&C for curly hair - always always. I actually REALLY like Matrix S&C for Curly hair (I use it in the winter, when my hair is more dry)

And again - Potion 9. I cant push this stuff enough.

Styling CREAMS work better than gels or mousses on curly hair, too.

My DD has very thick, curly hair and she uses Redken curl boost and her hair tuns out gorgeous! I am so envious.

I am in love with this stuff. I got it in a little store in town here and it is sooooooo yummy! It smells really good, a little bit spicy and it has a sparkle to it. I really like the type of glitter they used in it better than any other sparkle lotion I have used. It is very iridescent and not too much glitter, but not too little either. Just enough.

So what S&C do you all recommend...is it the AMPLIFY or the CURL-LIFE if you color your hair and you want the color to last longer than 4 weeks....anything possible?? I have thick, short, curly, colored hair!!!

I have just used PANTENE for so long...thinking I need to change things up a bit!!!
