Wow! I just found this thread, but I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts. I hope to learn about make-up from you all.![]()
I've decided to make more of an effort to put on make-up everyday. Usually, I wear a little bit of it to church or school, but that's it, lol. I just get so overwhelmed by all of the choices. I've been looking for a good foundation or powder for my face, but I am so overwhelmed by all of the color choices. I have dry, light to medium skin and I have a little bit of redness (like around my nose). How do I find a good shade? I've been looking at the Everday Minerals site.
Can anyone offer me any suggestions? You'd think that at 32 I'd know all of this.![]()
Thanks for reading.![]()
I have been following this thread since it started. I am going to be in biggggg trouble because I have ordered the everyday minerals $50.00 kit, the dhc skincare-essentials kit and velvet coat, and the too faced mascara layering kit. I do have a question about that one. Which one do I put on first? The big tube or little tube? So, anything else ya'll want to recommend?![]()
First of all, Hello and

Next, I was watching the guy who heads up Too Faced Cosmetics on HSN and he said to put the little tube (the pinpoint) on first. Start at the base and work up in a sweeping motion to really pull those lashes out for length. Then you follow up with the Lash Injection to make em really fat. I had been doing it the wrong way at first. I love the look I get, better than putting on false eyelashes.
Speaking of eyelashes. I have to give a speech tonight for speech class. We had to chose something to demonstrate. Me? I'm going to demonstrate how to put on false eyelashes. I'm nervous. I hope I don't mess up. Truth is now I'd just rather throw on my lash injection and go!
