I wonder if you could microwave it and pour it into (think like the MAC liner pot) ??

Or I guess you could even boil it, with the top on.

It is a hard container like a mascara container and it looks kind of like a genie bottle. I think you would need a hack saw. I am going with the Too Faced b/c I need to buy some make up and that is something I can justify. I am very serious I think that truly I am addicted to make up. I think if I won the lottery I would go straight to Sephora.

Hi everyone! I'm Courtney and a make-up addict. I don't know how I missed this thread.

I need an opinion, Who has tried both the Too faced and the Urban Decay
shadow primer. Which one is better. I was going to go back to UD but then I noticed the Too Faced was in a tube and I figured I would get more out of it. HOnestly I do not have the energy to cut open the container of UD to get it all out. I do bang it on the sink (and for that I got a nice chip) to get it all out but cutting ...that is a different story. I ended up in the ER a year or so ago for trying to cut a bag of frozen veggies open with a knife. I got 12 stitches in my finger!! I try to stay away from difficult to cut items now.

I UD's Primer Potion. Have you seen the YouTube video of the girl cutting open the bottle? I tried it with mine and it's AMAZING how much product is left in that ugly purple bottle!! I seriously made this face when I did it myself.

So today I went to Ulta after work and bought 3 Smashbox eyeshadows. 2 shimmers and 1 loose powder shadow. It's black with different color sparkles in it. I'm going to use to it line my eyeliner.

How do you get to go to the hair/beauty shows. Do you need to have a beauty license or do you just have to pay a lot.

BTW when you go to the show check out the Kat Von D make up. I saw it in the Sephora catalogue and it looked pretty good...not out there like I would think her make up line would be.

I watched the info and made up my mind I also so the demo about cutting the UD and I am so sorry I threw mine away. I am going with the Too Faced. BTW I did not like the colors of the make up the girl used. She needed more smokey colors if you ask me. I have the same coloring and if Iused that I would look like a clown.

OH - and no, I have only used Loreal's , Tigi's and Too Faced's primer.

I read that UD had the best primer - but after the Loreal one not being able to get to the bottom, I went with the tube you can squash every little bit out of it.

You could do what I did with the Loreal one.... take off the little stopper top - and stick a small concealer brush into it, to get the stuff at the bottom.

I'm really surprised by this. I love the bottle, but the primer isn't that great, IMHO. I like it less each time I use it and no way am I going to cut open the bottle to get the rest of the product out.

I'm going to return mine to Sephora and exchange it for the Too Faced. If I don't like that it's back to MAC Paint.

Okay I now know I am NOT a hardcore make up addict, after looking at that site I now realize I am just in the minor leagues. Gotta say I looked at the nail polish section and I still Love my Essie.

This is one of the most disappointing products I've ever tried. I really don't get the hype. It does stop my makeup from creasing, but I find my eyeshadow doesn't have the staying power that it gets from Paint.

My issue with Paint is that it makes my eyeshadow sometimes too vibrant. The color really stands out and it's a little tougher to get a natural look. I still think it's 100x better than the Primer Potion. It also lasts forever. I don't care to admit how long I've had the tube I just finished up.

Let us know how the Too Faced is. As much as I love UD products, their packaging on a lot of things suck and the primer isn't the best packaging idea, especially for what a great product it is.

I am always stunned by what the girls can do on makeup alley. I can only dream of being that talented. Plus my kids and I would be living in a cardboard box if I spent that kind of money on all those little pots of eye color. But its fun watching what others do.

prettyprincessbelle, did mean you got the Smashbox Softlights in shimmer? Isn't that the most wonderful stuff??? It's like candlelight glow in a box! I love that stuff. I don't wear it everyday. Just when I want an extra inner glow radiance thing going on.

I can't find it but a great big Thank You! goes to the PP who gave me the suggestion to pull my eyelid taunt to use the liquid eyeliner. I tried it again tonight, and while it still needs work, I actually think I could leave the house right now. The second eye is definitely better than the first eye but I know that I will get it down pat soon.

HI Guys,

I woke up early ....why because I had a stupid dream that involved make up. LOL Really I was working at the telephone comany (on Saturdays like that might ever happen) and one of the requirements was that I wear make up. The make up that they chose for me and what did they choose? The yellow gold eye make up that the girl in the YouTube video was using to demonstrate the shadow primer! LOL! That is what I get for reading this thread right before I went to bed

I still have a Sephora Gift card for 50 so I think I will go to day and get my Too Faced Primer. POSSIBLY I will get a shadow also. I just don't know I am trying to be good and budget conscious(not gonna happen)so I am trying right now to make my gift card last. I doubt I will leave there with under 100.00 worth of product though. It is just a fact of life for an addict.

Morning, ladies. If this nasty weather clears up, I think I'm going to go to ULTA today to pick up the Too Faced primer and whatever else I see that strikes my fancy. I went to Sephora last night, but they don't carry the TF line, so I wound up getting some Smashbox eye shadow instead. Can't leave Sephora empty handed, you know?

OH, and I got my ears pierced! It's so nice to be able to wear pierced earrings again - I despise clip-ons. I'm just hoping it works out for me this time. So far so good but if I'm going to have a reaction I imagine it may take several weeks to show up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I went to Sephora last night, but they don't carry the TF line, so I wound up getting some Smashbox eye shadow instead. Can't leave Sephora empty handed, you know?

I sometimes wonder what they do - or how they live, though - for real.

I spend a LOT of money on makeup - and I have no where near what they have, and I have a LOT. I just wonder how theyre doing it.
