OK, so this was my first time selling anything on eBay, and I've only bought something twice before - but I had some expensive purses I decided I never used and the money would come in handy for The World.

Well, I get an email from the winning bidder who bid quite a bit of money, and she says she was bidding on 2 purses at the same time, never does that, never wins them, can't believe she won them, and she's going to go with the other one - sorry!

Sorry?!!! I thought on eBay if you bid on it, you had to pay for it! And I probably screwed myself by being nice and offering a return policy, so even if I got her to pay for it, she could just return it. So I'm trying the Second Chance Offer thing - but I am extremely non-plussed right now!

OK, sorry, vent over - thank God this board is perpetually OT!

Report her to ebay and leave very negative feedback. Her bid is supposed to be a contract. I would file a dispute right away. She is supposed to know its a conract. I would push on it if I were you.

So, I spent about six hours placing each one of those dog bones just so....just to TRY and get myself into the yearbook...and apparently all I did was scare Lou and Max away. Great. All that wasted time. Plus, MY 3 dogs were DROOLING everywhere...and they weren't too happy that I was showin so much love to another Dog. Apparently I am in the dog house.

Sheesh...what's a girl got to do around here to get in the darn yearbook....

well i can see why the "FIXER" would make more than a few guys nervous.
is it call emapthy or sympathy....goots say that's isn't my "cup" of
oysters [no tea drinker here!]..cup , cups wasn't that line exchanged
between the 2 kings in sleepin beauty?....you think they're were talkin
bout our lil melons girl! which reminded me....is the tag fairy blind?..how
could they missed our cute lil polymelons' girl & all? i'm summarizing but
if the tag fairy anthing like tinker bell, it may have been professional
jealously?? after all, her display full of melons!! anyway, i thought the
puppy story was just howlin..except the fixin up part...whew,my palms
sweating for personal reasons....p.s. my mother used to sing "how much
is the puppy on the window" to us kids at bedtime... i think the
waggin of tails sorta refer too....any guy reading melly's new tag? or
it could be just me.

ok? polymelons..good mothers doesn't refer to a handybook. statistics
are numbers but children are people. though i haven't gotten around
to reading the whole debate, i know a mother's instincts are to be trusted!
*your trip report to me was a classic for all the magic you created. again!
your family pic is what a disney vaction should be..it what's i think every
time. of course, you sure don't need an expert to tell you that. i don't
mean to be bold, but while you may have melons..you're definitely no
melon head...what i noticed behind the approach, was a mother takin
care of her family. bravo! of course..i'm just a daddy & a lil grumpy...

mommyp so glad you guys avoided a more serious diaster. fire! is so scary!
we keep our kids baby pictures in a safety box for this very reason!
the wedding sounded beautiful........i can recall the very moment my
beautiful bride entered the room ..with her dad smilin sooo big!! me
thinkin..do i deserved this??? ha! i know i was a lucky fella! was any
of your rascally boys part of the cermony? your kids in your signature
looks so happy..and full of energy.

Sheri/Chris, I think I missed the traveling Mickeypants details, but I kinda get the gist. I am planning to be in the World from 9/29-10/3 (VWL), and then from 11/5-11/23 (BCV). These dates are pretty firm, but the locales all depend on me being able to rent points. I'm happy to help out with the traveling pants if you need me

We are from Canada, but lived in Georgia for 4 years. LOVED IT there!
Canada is our home, but we really have a soft spot for Georgia.
Port Colbourne isn't too far from where we currently live.

A fellow Canadian in Georgia told me about Neal Boortz and I became a regular listener. No more morning TV for me! So, I try to tune in when I'm online.

I've heard his ramblings about public vs. private many times. He's so funny. BTW - our kids went to a great public school in Gwinnett County. But I understand what he means.

Did you hear the first 1/2 hour - 8:30 - 9:00 when they were talking about that album, "Taste of Honey" by Herb Albert? My parents had that album, so I knew what he was talking about! Younger than Neal - older than Royal!
