Hello.

Are we talking shopping? My favorite topic.
Yep! Joanne is shopping for Christmas already. Karen is almost done (she isn't here, I am just in such amazement that I thought I'd mention it). I have done no shopping at all......

How's everyoned doing with their exchange shopping?

I'm not very good at this, never really know what to buy.

I got a few things already. Everything I have is wrapped as well. No Black Friday this year for me. :sad2: That's the day we leave Disney.

Kendall my DD who is 10 goes every year with me. She is the little shopper of the family. Last year we were out of the house by 4:30 because the shops opened for 5:00. I got so much done in a short time we were finished by about 9:00.

I am taking the easy way out and shopping at WDW. Who doesn't love overpriced Disney crap? I know I do.... :rotfl:

I know it's a crazy day but I just love it. The wild crowds, the Christmas music playing in the background. It really puts me in the spirit of Christmas. Except the part where you stand in line for thirty minutes.

Our very first trip in 2000 we left that day too.
On Thanksgiving we were suppose to go to Liberty Tree for dinner.
but the girls 6 & 9 at the time were having such a good ime in the pool.
and knowing we were going home the next day to cold weather
we skipped dinner and had pizza at the WL coffee shop.

Danielle who was 6 remembers that and thinks it's so cool we did that. :rotfl:

Or fight 50 people for one parking spot...... :rotfl:

But I love it too....We usually go shopping, grab breakfast on the way home, take a nap, then put up the Christmas tree......and we are usually home by 9 or so..... :thumbsup2

Oh that's great. I have to remember with all the planning and preparations I've done that we really don't have to follow a schedule. It's vacation after all. Just go with the flow.

I really haven't had to experience that. Don't get me wrong it's crowded at 5 AM but they still have spots open. I'm sure later in the day they are plenty of fighting going on. That's when I want to be home wrapping everything I bought that day.

i think black friday should be banned. its a night mare for those that have to work and no way do i wantt o see wal mart that packed..lol

Now that is a definite must. We might go with the flow in other areas but being there early is not debatable. :lmao:

Oh man.......Wal Mart is the worst! The way they just throw those huge pallets in the middle of the store! I am ashamed to say that I was one of a throng of hundreds fighting over scooters one year. Was that what they were called? The Razor things that looked like a skinny skateboard with handles....

nope. we sleep in then get out and hit the yard heavy getting thee christmas lights on and working, ussually we are about half way through by then, this year i havent started yet,, the leaves arent all off the trees and its a pain to get to them after i start stretching wires for the lights...

may not put out more than 10,000 or so bulbs this year, but then again, i may go all out again and do several thousssand more than that,,,lol,, one year we had a 30 ft tall light treee in the front yard,, this year i'm not sure what we will do, really haavent planned htem out at all, so i'll juststart hanging lights and see where i stop. i'm thinking the inflatable santa and sleigh is going on the roof though....and since you can now see our back yard from the highway, gotta do that side of the house too. yeah i have an osborne kinda thinggoing,,lol,, altho i have yet to purchase any extra property just to light it...
