ahh my grandparents go to WDW 2 times a year usually and since my family isnt going this year my parents are takeing me outa school for 1 week and sending me to WDW with my grandparents and my grandparents mentioned something about going around Christmas so i was like IM SOO EXCITED

Yes! We went at Christmas! It was fantastic. We had the greatest time...............the lights and trees are beautiful, and we had Christmas dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the MK.

he's like the energy bunny, he just keeps going

hehe sorta my teacher accually hooked us up a couple days ago. lol its her daughters bestfriend she hooked her daughter up with my bestest friend too .

Hello Jay..............mom had to go to er last night for pain.......they said it could be a blood clot with a severe pain that doesn't respond to meds.........it turned out to be swelling inside her cast. She's having the same pain now, and it's probably the same so she's off and elevating it, but I'm a teeny bit worried in the back of my mind of the possibility of a blood clot. Wish I'd gotten the Fri/Mon now as I'd be there tomorrow. Instead I took Mon/Tues...............

In just over 12 hours I will be getting in the van to head down to WDW!! Well, it looks like I am alone...I will be in and out...but I am wishing for some chattering before I head off to visit the Mad Hatter himself (and of course everyone else too).

Oh no...first...deep breath in....deep breath out (I know you are calm...I just needed to slow down myself). Okay...now, did they keep her at the hospital? Where is the pain?

Are you leaving tomorrow afternoon after school or waiting until Saturday morning?

Duh me... I just read, it's in her cast. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH SWELLING IN A CAST. My dBil had a pretty bad break of his upper leg but no nerve damage or loss of function or feeling...then he had post op swelling and they didn't get the cast off in time and bam...he still cannot feel his foot and has limited range of motion (but he was very dedicated to getting full "walking" back and has and then some, he can even slowly jog now, he has just learned to compensate).

NOT said to scare you, just make sure she doesn't feel badly about making her discomfort known and also that she doesn't take it too lightly. If the swelling gets "big" enough, it can start to cut off blood flow and pinch nerves and compress nerves etc.

All of that said, my Dbil was in a little hospital (and I use that term loosely) and he had a very inattentive nurse who didn't respond to his reports of pain...

Caution is the key!!
