Oh oh oh...do get a pic. of the Mad Hatter too...if not, I will track him down in TWO WEEKS!! :) I have a shorter time to wait then I have time to be on vacation!! :)

I've never seen the Mad Hatter or the White Rabbit.............only Alice.

Our school has a joint staff/student musical every Spring..........guess what it was this last year?

I'll make it my mission to find him! Hopefully it won't be too difficult. I'm also doing the afternoon tea at the GF and will definitely be thinking of my fellow mad chatters while I'm there!

My day was so so. ANOTHER dentist appointment. I got my splint (that I have to wear for at least 8 hours every 24 hour period). Hopefully the splint does the trick! :) The clicking in my jaw is bad at the end of the night and in the morning and it actually locked up a time or two...so hopefully this gets things (ie my jaw) back on track...cause I am going to be doing a LOT of chewing at WDW (free dining plan...YUM) and on the Magic (Y-U-M)!!

I have a great pic of alice...I'll shrink it down and post it sometime soon on here.
Look for her at epcot in England ...I found her there in the toy store(back by the gazebo(sp?) In fact the CM playing her was they best I have seen! looked liek alice, sounded like alice, played the part of the "kid" and was playing with the children int he sotre and all... gotta give her mad props! I also got a pict of her the hatter, and the wife in the Kingdom.

Well gals, I'm off to bed. Big day tomorrow!!

Hope that splint works for you

See you on the 10th ladies!

I would have guessed that but I couldn't think of any songs that would go with it!! ;)

Do you have any cookie dough left?

Well Jay so far the favorite lesson would have to be the chalk Pastel Cardinal's I had my 4th graders do( Ohios state bird...which they are starting to learn about)

Favorite I plan on doing.... between 2 right now, well have to see how they go, they are kinda experimential.
1) We will discuss cave paintings, showing them examples. Then as a a class we will use the large roll paper and make a cave wall that we will make cave drawings ont o represnt ourselves and out class. i'm going to have every class and grade do this and hang them in the halls.
2) Talking about Michelangelo and how he had to lie on his back to paint the cceilign of the sistine chapel. We will tape paper to the bottoms of our desk and use markers(paint would be too messy for littleones) and "paint" a scene.

They did a flower song, they did one for the Queen of Hearts in which some of the other characters throw her dress up and you see her bloomers, the Mad Hatter had a song, but the only one I really remember was the Cheshire Cat's song..............he/she sang that poem, Twas Brillig and the Slithy Toves did gyre and gimble in the waves, all mimsy were the borogroves and the mome raths outgrabe...........very catchy tune.

And, no, I ate the last of it raw tonight, talking to you! Do you have spies or something?????????????????
