I didn't-but I sure was tempted to! There is so much I wanted!! But I'm going to be at the World next week, so I can buy it there at a lower tax rate!

Hi Jay: I found a couple of cute outfits for school. I bought my youngest, Mikey, a video game. New Madden game (they all look alike to me) and a set of colored pens. I love writing in color when I grade papers. It rained, make that poured long enough to sog our day and ruin our plans. But we had fun anyway.

Hi Mindy: I can't believe the invite mix-up. Oh well, doodoo do happens. At least you stayed positive and took the shopping idea. I love being female. Shopping is so destressing.

I too love colored pens. THey make me feel "happy" when I write with them! *yes, I know I am strange *

Darn! People here, and I have to go...........promised the kids a night swim..........if you're here later, I'll be back (said like Ahh-nold).

Doing pretty well. Going a big bonkers since we have only 20 days until we leave for our WDW/DCL/WDW vacation. I am ready to start packing (yes, really, I want to start tomorrow).

Then again, it has also been a crazy week. The dog has been to the vet twice (he ingested a week old pork roast that had been in the outside garbage for about 6 days of that week). He got some sort of bacterial infection of his pancreas (sp?) and he had to be fed by IV for 48 hours to rest his stomach (not the smartest dog, but we love him anyway).

Thankfully he is back to himself now. I am so glad.

I had a great day today scrapbooking with some friends at a local coffee house. I spent the entire afternoon there...had my new favorite drink...a tea infused fruit smoothie. I like the lemon!

Jay sorry I dropped off for a little. I started watching Aladdin and began packing!

Karen I did try to remain positive, although when I first heard I was pretty upset. But I bounced back after a little bit and still had a pretty good time by myself.

J, I am so jealous! I still have about 3 months to go, and I am sooooo ready!

Things have been crazy around here too. School started back, fun fun, and DD's 1st football game was this afternoon. She is on the pom squad. So we got to go bake for a couple of hours and watch our team lose.

Poor puppy! Is he fully recovered yet? I have to take mine every 4 days to get an allergy shot.

He's back to normal...he still has three days of special food (his system needs rest before it takes on "real food" again). Poor thing. I can tell he is feeling MUCH better though...he is back to begging for other food and playing with the kids again. For a few days all he did was lay in a pile and have icky stomach contents coming out of both ends.

I am so happy to see him being himself again!

As far as the trip...I am so looking forward into being able to do a single digits dance...in one way the time is passing toooooooooooo slow, but in another way, I would like to stretch this "almost time to leave" magic time out a bit. I love the sweet anticipation of being ready to set off on a great family fun adventure!

Hey Paige, he's a yellow lab. Huge, furry, crazy baby! He is nuts (and a tad stupid) but we love him. How are you doing tonight?
