(We're having turkey with veggies.)

2) What are you doing tomorrow?
(I have to take DD to the orthodontist and then we're going shopping. She has to get more brackets put on, so she's going to be very sore! )

Well hello, Denise and Kelly! Great to see you girls.

I was just reading that post about googling your friends and neighbors. Why are people getting so pissy over that? It seems like some people are just looking for something to get mad about. I'll bet if one of their friends posted the exact same thing, they'd be telling her how clever she was.

#1) Dunno... I have to go to the store to restock our fridge with foods I can handle until Thursday! Bland foods.... yuck!

#2) Hope I'm relaxing... tell DD sorry about her appt! DS has braces too and bless his heart, they don't look like fun

Dinner tonight, I"m not sure yet. Maybe chicken enchiladas.

Tomorrow I'm also not sure yet. I just got back from doing some stuff today and man, was it hot outside! I don't know if I want to go back out in that heat again!

I agree with you 100%! I posted my opinion on that earlier. One of thr first responces. I think it's a great think that they look up sex offenders, and for the rest of the people (their family and friends), well that's their business. I don't see why someone would get so defensive about that!

It's sad that the boards are fuel nowadays by things in a negative light, I also saw another thread about hating a baseball team. Things are gonna get ugly there

That's ok! We're lurkin (I say we, I am anyway)! DS got them when he was 12 y/o, hopefully he'll have them off by November. He doesn't care as long as they are off before the cruise

We will have paid $5,252 when his braces come off

How long do braces stay on? Can you do a payment plan? If so, is it monthly payments, and how much do you pay each time?

Sorry, yall! I was palying games.

DD got hers when she was 11 1/2. She STILL has them. She's 14 now.

We paid about the same as Kelly. Made the final payment the other day!

Bonnie- You may want to schedule or call an orthodontist in your area for all the information. It all depends on your orthodontist. Also, your girls will wear the braces for as long as it takes. Some are very short term, other long.

From what I remember his ortho saying, braces stay on for an average of 18 - 24 mos. DS will have had his on for 18 mos. in November. He is doing a great job of following his ortho's instructions, I'm so proud

They allowed a payment plan for us, it was $175.00 a month and we paid close to $2,000 as a down payment. Luckily his down payment was due in April, we had just gotten our tax return

I agree. I posted on that thread about LOVING cookouts to change the mood! People these days...
