I saw that. That same OP has another thread about hating cookouts. Why start a thread about hating something? I say find something you LIKE and invite others to talk about it with you. Much nicer. :)

I don't understand people :sad2: I agree big time about posting things you like! :thumbsup2

Denise ~ Braces for that long, bless her heart... that will probably be the case with DD! We found out that she has to have them too :guilty: Unfortunately, she lost her front permanant tooth when she was in 2nd grade from a playground incident. :furious: She has had to wear a flipper and where that tooth is gone, the rest are shifting around alot.

Oh well, pretty smiles in progress :teeth:

Today I took the girls to the library--first time since we moved here. It's a nice library and they have a lot of fun activities. They did a science thing today. We got our library cards and found some books.

Then we went to Five Guys. Mmmm! I'm not a burger fan, but this place is really good. We didn't have them in Vegas. Then we went to Heather's school and got her a registration packet and made an appointment to get her registered. Then we went to Food Lion for groceries. We were hot when we got home. :guilty:

Burgers? Yumm... I'm gonna miss Fuddrucker's for awhile! I can't wait to ask the GI specialist what I can replace my burgers with. I'm a big burger and fry fan

Sorry I was gone for so long. Checking emails!

Bonnie- Sounds like you guys had a full day planned! I bet it was HOT!

Kelly- Aww! Poor DD!

Is that the news you were hoping for? :)

Yes and no :confused3 I would have missed the cruise if I were pregnant! But, I had my two kids at a young age! I have that urge to hold a newborn :goodvibes

Same with me. I want a new baby, so does DH. But then I think how limited larger families are sometimes. Just us having 3 kids limits us at WDW, as far as hotels go. We can't stay in values or most of the mods. And the cruise, we have to get the deluxe cabins (cat 4 and up) when gets VERY expensive!
But sometimes I do feel like someone is missing from our family.

You nailed that one! We are in a good place financially, I don't want to ruin that! Plus, DH & I didn't court that long. Is court a word people still use?

Anyway... back to the subject. I was 19 when I had DS and we married 8 mos. later. We are starting to feel like teenagers again :rotfl: The kids are becoming more independent and spending the night out off and on.

I do get lonely though when they are gone at the same time, I don't think I'm gonna handle the empty nest syndrome to well! :sad2:

Hi Everyone! :wave2:

DH's interview went well. We should know by the end of the week if he got it! :artist:

Hi Sarah! I haven't talked to you in a while!

I'm glad the interview went well. Fingers crossed for your DH.

Hey Denise, I never hear you talk about your DH. What does he do?

He works retail. He stays so busy, it seems like he's never home. What does your DH do?

Hey Sarah!

I'm thrilled to hear that! :) Keep us posted!

How are you doing this afternoon?

Thanks!

I'm really tired! You might have missed my last post. Our basement flooded twice on Thursday night, so I spent the last few days cleaning up. Hopefully the president will declare our area a disaster area so I can at least get some tax breaks. Plus it's HOT :sunny: :furious: and my allergies are really really bad.

But at work this morning a sweet little boy brought in a dog bone (actually a piece of paper that said "milkbone" on it for one of our stuffed animals. Her name is Annie and she's a puppy with 3 legs. The mom didn't know that the dog is actually from a series of books and the kid was super excited. It was very sweet. :goodvibes

Yesterday I got to give our Summer Reading grand prize to a boy. It was a Nintendo DS Lite and 3 games. I thought he stopped breathing for a second! :bitelip: It was really great!

No rain here, either. We need some bad, too. There's a few dark clouds overhead, though. Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm such a spaz! Sorry Denise! Well, now everyoen that's on knows, so it's all good! :)

My DH is in retail too. 10 years as an associate, not even management. Hopefully he'll finally be a teacher soon though! :artist:
