The shot completely numbed it for a few hours, but he hasn't given anymore of those. She didn't say anything about how much it hurts when she does it, but she's only done it twice. She says the PTs help her get into the chair and take it really slowly and all. She says when it's time to get back in bed, the aides do it, and they are a little more impatient and a little less able.

She's a brave woman...I am such a pain wimp. If it were me, I would be bawling every step (or scoot) of the way. I will be keeping her in my prayers!

Dh cooked again because I was supposed to be in a meeting until 6, but only those from our school showed up, so they let us go early. He made fideo con pollo, frijoles y tortillas.

Does that mean pasta with chicken, beans and tortillas? YUM!! **working off of high school spanish and living in Brazil for a bit...sometimes I get the languages mixed up**

We had enchilada casserole. I had it premade so all dh had to do was pop it in the oven and presto...a full meal!

I cannot wait for Disney, no more cooking for over two weeks!! WOO HOO!

Exactly right. Fideo is a very thin strand-like pasta, but not as long as spaghetti.............you put in tomatoes, seasoning and chunks of chicken.

WHAT are you guys TALKING about? I love McDonald's! Those are only the best fries ever! When they're hot, of course, and with a giant soda. Come on, besides their Happy Meals are the coolest..........they've got Hummahs.......................

Fries are good, but the rest is ick.

That sounds so good right now. I could just eat a full plate of it (even though I just ate my casserole...not near as tasty sounding as that)! Do you use Adobo (sp?) in it?

Fries are good, but the rest is ick.

The fries are good...for me, dangerously so, I can't eat just a few of them. So, I have learned to avoid them altogether (for the most part).

No, we only put Adobo in mole (which I hate).

In fideo, dh browns the pasta in oil, then puts in tomato sauce, tomato buillon, fajita seasoning and black pepper.

Hee hee hee...my dBIL is Puerto Rican. My older sister is a lot older then I am. So ever since I can remember dBIL has been a part of our family and he cooks a mean meal. He makes some of my favorite food ever! Just the way his mom taught him! YUM!! Some of the spices I have learned to use from him are Adobo and Sofrito...YUM on both of them!!

Also, I spent almost a year in Brazil during high school. I was an exchange student...lots of good Hispanic food their too!YUM!!
