Waited on the Pella windowman this morning to deliver (and I thought install) a new window sash in one of our double-hungs. Turns out they only DELIVERED the sash so I had to install it myself -- really wasn't too hard at all, less than 30 minutes. Our windows (and house) are 9.5 years old and we have a 10-year warranty on them so we just sneaked in under the wire on this one. Now watch the rest of them fail at the 10.5 year mark!
Second, I am here! (for a tiny bit -- still have work work to do)
I should be so lucky.

Kristi -- you should so go with the laptop if you can get one. Portability, privacy, sanity (in my household anyway) -- all good features on the plus side IMO. When the kids are going nutso in the room where I'm doing my "work" or DISing, I can just leave and go to another room and take my laptop with me!Hi, Caroline. I am sure dh will now try to talk me into a laptop, thus far I have resisted based on cost but we want to set up an old desktop for the kids upstairs and then have ours downstairs, I just know he is gonna go back to pushing for laptop...
First, how did I get lumped in with her?Sorry! Hope I didn't offend. Speaking of Captain Weenie - where is Rob and Wendy?

Afternoon delight? And we ain't talkin' a Mickey bar.

Both, eh? You cheeky little monkey, you.Oooohhh Mickey bar - that is my kind of afternoon delight! (hmmm, unless the afternoon delight would be with Captain Jack or Orlando - or both!)
And how is that different than any other day?I'm about to be fired because I'm dancing around in my cube, grabbing my "area" and shouting, 'WHOOOOO!'
