There was some big drama earlier this year because some guy who seems to want to be an RD influencer was trying to sell tips that could be found for free if you just ask around. Someone posted about it on Reddit without naming the guy, leading to the obvious: everyone was like “who the heck is doing this?”, and this person took a lot of joy in hinting at who the person could be without naming him and then admonished others for wanting to know who exactly it was. It was tedious!

This is all odd behavior, the selling and the weird posting about it.

OK when are we thinking for themes?

So you can take my guess with a boulder of salt *and* wishful manifesting into the universe, but I don't think Jasmine has ever been the half marathon only princess (she was the 5k, the 10k and back in 2019 (?) the challenge right?) so I am hoping my girl comes in for the half in 2027...since it's also an anniversary year for Aladdin.

I've heard from someone that the princesses are Snow White/Tiana/Ariel/Jasmine (unsure of the exact order). I can't confirm this and they didn't say where they heard it from but their source was correct for the shoes this year, so . As always, I'm taking all rumors with a grain of salt until things are confirmed.

Someone claiming to be "in the know" on Reddit is giving some vague hints. Could be totally fake, but I've got nothing else to speculate on so here I go.

They claim each of the following combos have 2 correct guesses, and Cinderella is not going to be featured:

• Belle / Tiana / Ariel
• Cinderella / Raya / Snow White / Tiana
• Cinderella / Aurora / Snow White / Tiana

If this is true, by process of elimination, it has to be Tiana and Snow White for sure, and either Belle OR Ariel. That leaves one spot open, and the remaining princesses are as follows: Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana. No idea which race/medal these guesses are.

I'm certainly looking forward to finding out of this is true! Since Pocahontas was virtual I'm inclined to think they wouldn't do her but you never know.

My guess if you think they consider recency would be Ariel and then either Jasmine or Mulan, but I'm not sure recency is a factor. It does look like they've avoided back to back princesses in recent years.

Correct, not today. 5/12 is two weeks out from CrD so that would be my guess, although I'm wondering now if CrD silver registration might cause a conflict with that. Not sure about the timing last year.

After thinking I'd be out, I might be back in? Hubby said he's not against going to PW a few weeks after we get back from Japan

But I probably won't do the whole weekend unless I'm obsessed with the themes. I know for sure I will not be able to do any training while we're gone, which will be like 10 or 11 days at the beginning of Feb. I'll be walking a ton, but I just can't commit to running at all when I know we are going to have packed days with like 20k+ steps a day.

I would love some of the more “random” princess characters. It would freshen up the rotation. The rumor is Jasmine and Snow White will be included for next year, and yet they were both used last year. I would love to see Leia for Princess weekend, maybe even Princess Atta since she’s on the course each year.

I'm thinking of signing up with my 14 year old for her first race experience. I'm a little gun shy thinking how she'd do with that super early wake up, but I think all would be ok. I'm most nervous about registration since I have only ever registered myself and was never slowed down by adding someone else. I'm assuming there's some sort of tip list for registering more than one person?

When you register, you can put in all your info, and when you get to the bottom, you can either check out or add another registration.

Keep in mind, though, that if you add another registration and the event sells out before you purchase, you'll lose out on both registrations.

So the usual advice is - if registration is both or nothing, add another registration before checking out. If she's a maybe, check out with yours first, and then register again for her. Once you are through the queue, if will take you to the registration page without having to wait again.
