When we were in the world in December we were lucky enough to win YOAMD extra magic hour in MGM- totally awesome by the way. I sooo wanted to get a lanyard with the special pins but no luck…people are selling them on ebay. I considered buying one for my pin collection but DH does not think I should. He says its not the same...he has a point but I still want one...any thoughts...

I also think it stinks that people kept both pins and are selling them to make money, they should have given at least one away like the directions say- I would have...

TOOT I have to tell you I feel this chat is a privilege since its not 9pm!!!

The pin thing, I am not gonna be much help cause I really don't get it. My DH loves pin trading, but me, not so much. I only buy the ones I want to keep and wear. Like your DH, I don't really understand the draw of getting pins of an event you never participated in. For example, getting Disneyland Paris pins when you have never been there....dont' get it! When we were on our cruise, he got me a Mothers Day 2003 pin of Lady Tremain and the stepsisters. Why, I ask you? Me no get it. And even if you did participate in an event but did not receive a pin at that time, it doesn't seem the same to get it from somewhere else at a later date.

However, I say, if you want them that bad, why not try and get one on ebay. If it would make you happy, go for it!

A co-worker of mine recently got married and in two weeks some of us in the company are all going out to dinner to celebrate it. I don't know her that well, but the hostess said GAG gifts only and suggested Chocolate Walrus. I went there thinking it was a sweet, innocent candy store. I get there and it's FAR from it...I saw candy all right, in the shape of private female and male body parts...But luckily they DID have some appropriate ones. I got her two white chocolate turtle doves and a red chocolate heart. Have you ever heard of that store?? I can't believe I didn't know it was an adult store.

I don't think I could ever eat the male part, even though I LOVE chocolate. I bought turtle doves and a chocolate red heart on a stick. That seemed like the only inexpensive, non-sexual candy there.

DMIL was in the car one day and we drove past it, she told me she wanted to take one of her church lady friends there !!! LOL Aparently there is a sheet music store with the same name about 2 hours from us, she thought they opened another one!! We told her what it was and you wold have thought she was going to faint!!!
