Okay guys. Dh doesn't like paying the electric bill..........who does right? So he keeps the heat off. It gets in the 40s at night (I know, nothing compared to where you all are), but then in the day it warms up great outside but not inside........good insulation I guess.

So I'm always freezing............specially my little toesies.

So he came home for lunch, and I was napping. Yep, you heard right. And I got very hot, got up and he'd turned up the heat because he was cold.

So when he leaves, though, he turns it back down.

And I am not allowed to touch the thermostat he says.

So what's up with that?

DH and I have a constant battle over the thermastat....I am ALWAYS cold....even summer I sleep with blankets...he is the opposite...plus like your DH he doesn't want a high bill. What I ended up doing was buying a little space heater for the bedroom and use that if it's too cold.

Your DH reminds me of my DSIL. She NEVER turns the heat up in her house and she has three roomates who split the bill. She says she doesn't want to split a bill of 300 because it's just too much. She's tight with money, and I guess that's no big deal. It's just if her pipes burst she'll be calling my DH hysterically crying. I know I shouldn't laugh.
