Hey Paige: How was your New Year's Eve? Did you have FUN? I was away and was unable to get caught up with what everyone said they were doing and what they actually did do??? Weren't you going out of town??

I'm hoping that the beautiful weather that we have here will lift my spirits. I've been very down lately, especially yesterday. Thankfully Paige helped me through the day. I don't know what was going on in my head, but it wasn't pretty...too much going on I suppose, but I haven't gotten into that with most of you so I'm not going to bore you all and start now.

Anyway, I need to shower and get outside so I can enjoy the day.

I had the biggest, hugest CRUSH, on the Lone Ranger when I was like 6yo. I watched him all the time on my black and white TV set when I was little.

It was one of the best shows on TV.

My husband is ill and getting worse. He now has 4 different diagnoses. We spent Christmas Eve explaining to his family. We tried to forget about it on Christmas Day, but it was difficult. He spent much of NYE in bed at my brother's house in New Orleans.

IF I get a lightbulb out, I will not be placing it anywhere near my body......now certain parts of his.....I can think of a few places I'd like to put it in, er, on him.

You know, Paige, I was thinking about what you said a long time ago about DH's mom has the exact same illness...how is she doing, well, or is she in the same stage as your DH?

Were you driving all over the place during the holidays as that can be draining enough....?

I certainly hope your family will be a big support for you, your DH and the boys at this time in your lives.

Did the boys have a nice Christmas despite dad's illness, did they love all their gifts and seeing all their relatives?

So, no big NYE plans, as I thought you were meeting up with friends that night...

The short version is...my DH's job is the pits, he's had a drastic pay cut for the last 6-7 months, we had to cancel our spring break trip to Universal and WDW, my DH is job hunting, but so far hasn't found another job, his company owes him 40K in various commisions, etc, my chronic migraines are at their peak, I'm having my gallbladder out on Wednesday, and I'm likely depressed (no great surprise with everything that's going on).

I honestly don't know what I would do without my PMS buddies. They are to me what you all are like to each other and they've really helped me get through this tough time. What's the saying...A friend in need is a friend indeed.
