Not much here. DH is off bowling and it is pouring outside. I am trying to figure all this new stuff out...can't find my wave to say "hi". And it keeps telling me if You have been opted to post etc etc. Now it won't take me anywhere. So I will try again tomorrow. By Tricia and Trisha

:) well I found a smily face but not my favorites.

Bye Shirley....I hope you get everything working soon!

:confused3 I am not too sure what renting points is. You would think I would know as many times as we have been to WDW.

So renting points worked out well for you? My daughter really wants to stay at Old Key West. I guess it's the whole trust thing for me. I'm really going to look into renting for our next trip.

Shirley have you ever rented points?

Renting points went very smoothly for us. I rented from someone from the DVC board and had no problems at all. I did pay her through paypal using a credit card so I could dispute the charges if something went wrong, though.

I wasn't really scared about renting until I started reading more and more over there! We were fortunate to have had such a great experience. :thumbsup2

I told DH we will do a Disney cruise over Christmas break instead. ;)

We went on a Disney Cruise before they actually had their own cruise line. It was "The Big Red Boat" at the time. So much fun! That was before we had kids. I was pregnant for our first and she is now fifteen. We even stayed at the Disney Inn, which is now Shades Of Green. Wow, I didn't realize it's been that long.

I think a cruise would be so much fun, but the prices in December are really frightening! :scared1:

I'm feeling that way about the hotel rooms. Disney just isn't family friendly once you have more than four people. Having three kids means I need two hotel rooms. Last trip we stayed in the AMU Suites. The space really worked out well for us. My kids don't want to do value. I don't want to pay deluxe. DH doesn't want to stay offsite (which is probably a good thing). Too many decisions.

Yeah, I can handle the prices of food, park passes, etc, but the hotel thing really gets to me. There are pros and cons at every level, I suppose, but I guess I just overanalyze everything and make decisions even harder.

Tricia...you should look into renting. We paid 970.00 for one week at SSR. We walked to Downtown Disney almost every night, NEVER waited for a bus and it was sooo nice and peaceful there. We didn't even see that many people out and about there.

Do you happen to have the list of the points needed to stay at each DVC resort???? I used to have it, but I must have deleted it.

I think that will be my goal once I get DH to agree on when the next trip will be. We would need a two bedroom. Even though we are hardly ever in the room I just can't have the five of us in one room. It just doesn't work. :sad2:

I think it would be tought to have 5 in one room. You would even have a kitchen with the 2 bedroom! :thumbsup2
