Trisha dear... that Mickey bar looks good enough to EAT!!!![]()
I vividly remember my last Mickey bar...
"We rode the train all the way around (it is SO different from WDW), walked around a bit, did a few rides and decided it was time to enjoy a Mickey Ice Cream Bar. We started looking and by the time we found a cart they were closing up. DH did his sad puppy dog thing and before you know it they were opening up just so he could have his ice cream I was glad because I got one too!
Then we sought out the very best bench in front of Sleeping Beautys castle, which also had a wonderful view of the Matterhorn and the Astro Orbitor. The castle was beautiful, and so different from Cinderellas! I loved all the crowns! The whole square is different, but it also has that vague familiarity. We sat there a long time in silence, enjoying our Mickeys and taking in the wonderful, picturesque view. I burned it into my mind so I would never forget, it was so beautiful with the castle twinkling in the moonlight, the lights on top of the Matterhorn and the Astro Orbitor spinning. I could have sat there all night but it was almost closing and the crowds had already thinned out quite a bit, so we decided to call it a night."

. At least once every vacation we try and all enjoy one at the same time. So five Mickey Bars in hand we picked a table and dug in. Anyone passing by would have surely thought we looked crazy. HUGE grins on our lips and parts of Mickey Bars on our faces we looked a little bit crazed I bet. But we were really just enjoying being there together. The cold treats were really hitting the spot after a hot day walking around at AK and I would never have guessed it but sitting around a formica table top in the Food and Fun Center turned out to be one of my best memories of the trip! We were just all so totally happy at that moment that nothing else even mattered. Rella Bella said:

As with all good things, it all too quickly came to an end. "Aladdin" lost a good chunk of his Mickey Bar to a pesky thing called gravity and the spell was instantly broken. So, while dh scooped up what was left of Mickey and threw it away, I picked up "Stitch's" now ready certificate and we then made our way back up to the room."
