That's fantastic. I love that.Disney4Drew said:We do video tape it.We put the present out on the porch, and Santa brings it in for Drew. Santa came to our house every year for probably 15 years when I was growing up. It's one of my best childhood memories.
I think it's exactly the same.hiwaygal said:don't feel bad about saying anything like that to me...I made a choice on this, based on being single for so many years. Only recently have I really started thinking about the future...and a child. But I also have thought that I can always adopt. I know it's not the same for someone who has actually given birth, but I think, for me, it could be.

I got PSP's post card today. Sounds like she's having a great time!
My computer is acting VERY dumb, so in case of a sudden departure on my part, you'll know why.
Trisha! Your pics are adorable!! What a cutie that Drew is!
Karen! You rock my world, as usual.
Paige and Denise, congrats on getting the first task completed! Good luck!!

. I was 5 when my sister was born and my brother was 9. I have to tell you....and I'm sure my Mom would tell you...that there is no difference between a bio child and an adopted child. I was adopted as a young infant (a week or so old...same for my bro), so they are and have always been my family. Now, I do tease my sis and tell her that I was supposed to be the baby, but she came along and spolied it all!

paigevz said:Okay, you guys are the best.............but I have to say now with all the hugs, I want to tell you the rest.
We were going to adopt when the kids were older. We had application, home study, everything done in between Nick and Lucas, and they would come by, ask Nick if he'd share his toys and such. It disrupted him so each time, and we came close with 3 little boys...........that we pulled our application and went on the fertility bandwagon. We got lucky. But we still had held our adoption dream and were still planning to pursue it..........when the kids were older, even after we'd gotten pregnant.
Anyway, that dream got shot down too.
So much of what I thought my life would be is different now.
Sorry.............now I'm sad.

momrek06 said:Paige...it is okay to be sad about that...we all have dreams and so many of our dreams are MISSED dreams...this was one of your dreams that got missed...![]()
