I've got you! Good luck! :shamrock:

Can I join in? I would like to sign up for the 5k, though I might try for the 10! Thanks! :goodvibes

:yay:Hi can I join in for the 5 k even if it might be more of a walk than a run-and since I'm in Ireland I'll promise not to drink any guiness til I'm done-after that all promises are off:dance3:

So excited you're going to join in! It's totally okay for you to walk or walk/run! There's no sweeping here. ;) When I did the last virtual 5K, I stuck to a 1 minute run/1 minute walk schedule and it worked well for me. There were a few times that I had to skip the run interval and just walk, but overall I was pleased with how I did. I haven't decided how I'm going to do it for this next one.

And look folks! We have our own supplier of Guinness now! :drinking1

You are added! Do what you need to do to go the distance...walking is a-ok! :shamrock:

I'm in for the 5k! I signed up for a local race next Sunday. I've only been running again for about 2 months so I'm excited to see how I'll do. Thanks for setting this up!:yay:

Hey Carissa I'll drink an extra "half 'un" just for you (would make it a pint but I'm trying to get fit and healthy you know:rotfl:). Would you like it to be an extra cold draught one with a wee shamrock on the top? Your wish is my command in these matters:thumbsup2

Is that what you guys call a half pint? Neat! Would they laugh at me if I asked for an extra cold draught in Irish pub? :rolleyes1

Only a half pint of guinness is a "half un" (and mainly in southern Irish pubs).
There's actually a version of extra cold guinness but traditional (read older than me:rotfl:) say its not as good:lmao:If you like room temp stout it's probably not!
We Irish never laugh at anyone-especially when they're spending money:rotfl:
Mind you it's only 1.5 degrees today so you might want your stout heated
If you ever make it Ireland you will have to visit the guinness storehouse in Dublin-free samples:woohoo:

I'm still doing something wrong with my sig-cant get image at all!
Thanks for your help though.

So a half-pint of any other beer would not be a "half un." Interesting! I would definitely love to visit the Guinness storehouse!

I just PM'd you. :thumbsup2
