Well, 9:55AM school nurse called. Temp of 101, please come and pick your son up. So leave work early (thank God my boss is understanding!), get son, stop at grocery store where no less than 3 employees ask "what, no school?" Yup, I'm just a bad mom and don't send him Home, made him put on footie jammies and cuddle on the couch so now he's sleeping. Did the dishes, started dinner (sauce in crockpot), and just threw raspberry bars into the oven to bake Got DD off the bus from K and now I am taking a breather.

Poor baby. Hope he feels better soon

I always feel bad for my kids when one of them gets sick. Well unless it's when they are throwing up, then I only feel bad after they stop puking cause then I'm not having to clean up after them.

We've got guys working on the outside of our house. Replacing some of the soffet/facia boards. That's not so bad. What is bad is that our dog has been barking the mean someone-is-invading-my-turf bark all freaking morning. I keep saying, "Thank you Maggie. I know they are there. They are supposed to be there. Let it go." But, nooooo. Everytime one of them moves or makes a new noise (which is constantly) she is convinced that she needs to sound the alarm.

It's gonna be a looooong day.

My goodness, y'all are very chatty this a.m. Sorry about the kiddo, IAHD, hope he feels beter soon. Now I've lost track of the one with the septic back-up...was it LUVMYTINK?? anyway, yuck, sounds like you have had a sucky night/morning cleaning up. I HATE extra work, i can't keep up with the normal stuff!!

Today so far has been a WINNER day. I did one complete(folded and put away ) load of laundry, the second one is drying. I bought a new power scrubber for the bathroom, scrubbed the tub-it is sparkley!!-and cleaned the rest of the room. Tomorrow I do the shower stall..

I showered (kinda forgot to do that yesterday ) and washed my hair!!

This barely makes a dent in the mess that is my house. But it's something. I think I'll go into the attic and see what I can throw away today!!
