Hey Losers,
I am home. I was going to go into work today but I had a mamogram first thing in the am and they had to redo it and then do it a differant way and then a ulta sound. But the whole time they said do not worry. Boy did it hurt. I am bruised. So instead of going into work I need to wait for the DR to call and see if I am all set. What a pain. I called my boss and said I will work the afternoon from home. Home is closer to the DRs than work.

Wow, I'm more of a LOSER than I thought!!

Lunchtime rolls around and I fix DS3 the sandwich he wanted. Then I got to thinking that maybe I'd like some egg salad. So I put the eggs on to boil.

About an hour later, DS has to tell me that my "nummy's" are burning away. Now there is a burnt egg smell going through the entire house.

Lovely. I guess I'll light some candles to cover the smell.

ugh I guess I get the bad mommy award, DS5 was feeling bad yesterday, but this morning he woke up fine, was playing, I went to do the book fair at DS10's school. My mom was watching him and said he was fine, so I sent him to school this afternoon to his enrichment class.

So there I was in CVS getting Rxs filled for DH and DS10 and I get the call, he says his belly hurts he has chills, and he doesnt want to play. So I get myself checked out, go flying over there and now he is home on the couch. No fever he seems fine just watching TV under the blanket. And now my mom is lecturing me that his pants are too tight Umm no if that was the case he would have complained when he wore them last week.

Oh yeah and DH called and said that he changed his mind he is going to stay over after his business meeting, he had brought a bag just in case, so now I have to deal with all this myself. what fun!

Yeah I would have thought that too except he called when I said "oh yeah he is fine he is going to school today, he has been playing great all morning"

Gotta love those hubbys....................NOT.
The first time DH was deployed I felt bad for him having to eat in the chow hall so when Easter & Mother's Day rolled around we went to Ruby Tuesday instead of Red Lobster, where I really wanted to go. Come to find out that the chow hall served lobsters and crab legs Oh yeah he had it tough
Now he's at school & he gets to go out on the weekends, if he's not too tired, to resturants. Must be nice
I might gather the courage (and energy) to take the kids out on Easter by myself, cause I aint cooking a big holiday dinner for just me & the kids

I had all intentions of being a WINNER today.

Sadly, I will have to forgo any attempts at doing anything.

I went for that run yesterday. I haven't worked out since June, so it must have been too much too soon, because I can't move from the waist down without cringing and whining like a little baby.

And of course, with only 11 days til we leave for vacation, DS8 is now getting the crud. I've been giving him medicine and telling him to please try to fight it. I really don't want him missing time from school this close to vacation, since he'll be missing four days while we're gone. But you know how it goes. Of course he'll be sick.

I know this dreaded feeling all too well. Sick days are for vacation, not actually getting sick!!! We have a strict attendance policy here, so even taking off the two daysfor WDW that we always do sends me into a stress. "You can;t get sick, we need those days for WDW!!"


Hope your DS is feeling better soon...Have him hold out at least til the weekend!!

Owie! I hope everything turns out OK...Sorry they beat you up so badly, they are just trying to keep a really close eye on you because of your history..

I had a WINNER mom today, hope y'all won't hold it against me. I worked in the school Accelerated Reading store from 9-12:30..they have prizes for kids that have read at or above their reading goals. I was a loser because when MY kid (DS8)came in, he did NOT get to have a prize. He told me this morning that he didn't meet his goal, I hadn't been keeping up with him because I thought he was doing it at school..He has always exceeded his goal, so I am a loser for not making sure...

I also came back at 2:00 for my afternoon of shelving books at the school library. I go in there every day..MOnday and Tuesday are my regular days, the other days I go in for about 1/2 hour so I don't have to sit in the car pool line to get my kids..that's kinda loser behaviour, isn't it??

I promise not to do anything productive for the rest of the day, although I did get 2 loads of laundry done, I may do a couple more since the day is ruined for LOSERDOM anyway..

I DID leave the entire kitchen trashed from dinner last night..cooked a chicken in my George Foreman Rotisserie...easier than going to the store and buying one..left the cooker out uncleaned, pans, dishes in the sink...cleaned that mess up, too.


Tonight I am trying the recipe I have for "Le Cellier's" Cheese Soup. and leftover chicken sandwiches. I promise not to clean up..

Don't throw me out yet, tomorrow is another opportunity for Loserdom...

However, my son is starting t o turn into one, with his constant please to clean, like wipe cabinets down and such...I am a scared

I said, well, if you want to clean, why not start with picking up your toys.

He said no Thanks....I wanna wipe stuff!!!

I keep telling him he just wants to recheck me that it is the drs way of coping a feel from me.
