Hi all! Home from the horrible "w" place.

My mother in law is a bigger loser than I am. :lmao: Gotta love it!

I wish mine was. No she is the perfect everything and she LOVES to criticze or thinks she is "helping" with the advice.

She doesnt know when to keep her mouth and opinions to herself.

Yeah, I know I'm lucky!

My mom is a sort of loser...the crafting, housework things don't work for her....but she does try to save the world...she's a winner in that respect. Her mom was a loser too at home, she had six kids, so I kinda expect that. You may say I come from a long line of losers.

The funny thing? We all had real winner aspects to our lives too...my entire female family is big into scouts. I'm just started with my daughter, she's a Daisy and I'm a co-leader. As long as my other co-leader takes care of the crafts...it's all good.

I tried, I really tried to be a winner.
PTA? Did it. Couldn't stand the "mean girls", and the fact that all they wanted to do was raise money to have more parties to show off the fact that they raised money.
Cheerleader coach, never mind the fact that I never was a cheerleader & had no clue what I was doing. Besides that, I really don't like to have to deal w/other people's kids.
Baseball coach, team mom, scorekeeper, all that fun stuff. I spent most of my time yelling at the kids to stop climbing the fence & throwing baseballs at each other's heads while their parents sat there pretending they didn't have any kids at that moment.
I just want to be a spectator. Not so much the one that everyone is forced to give a big round of applause for for making the season great, or whatever. I help in my kids' classes when the teachers ask but I'm not there every day making a nuisance of myself just so everybody sees me & thinks I'm doing such a wonderful thing by being there. Both my kids have one of "those" moms in their class so I really don't have anything to do except send in plates for the parties. (Or raw cookie dough, as the case may be) :lmao:

My MIL is a LOSER too, and quite proud of it. Although she does love her scrapbooking. :confused3

I am quite the opposite of my mom. She is a Winner and I am a Loser.

My mom quilts and sews stuff and gardens and actually cleans her house. She raised 3 kids to adulthood without killing them. Total Winner.

Me...I could care less if I am eating out of yesterdays cereal bowl. As long as there is no crusty milk or cereal in it...it's all good.

Morning my loser friends. I have my car back :cool1: God I love DVD players in cars!!! Best invention EVER!

I think I got the volunteering gene and the packrat gene from my mom. Although she volunteers for everything. I have my set things I like to help with and that's it. Like I DONT head committees, I like being a worker bee.
Currently I volunteer one hour a week in the library, helping the kids find their books, putting books back, checking in and out etc. And today is the book fair so I will help there. I kind of like it bc I really know who the kids are in DS10 class and their personailities.

We dont have any "mean girls' in our PTA they are all actually nice but they are cliquey. They all hang out on the weekends together. Not invited there but that is ok but I must say they are all nice and the one thing I am impressed with all the PTA presidents know their volunteers names, except the lady this year.:confused3

And crafts I can handle if there is a sample or directions, I cant come up with stuff on my own.

Now if I wanted I could be up at the school all day, everyday but I dont want to do that either, I want my time too;)

Now the sports stuff is DH dept, I am the specatator there:goodvibes although I have had DS5 to deal with on the sidelines so some days I am not sure how much spectating I actually got to do;)

My MIL is a Winner... but she was so desperate to see her son married that she loves me and deals with my Loser habits.

DH was 41 when we started dating. She had almost abandoned hope. I could see the gleam in her eye when we met. "A-ha! Not only interested in my son, but young enough to still give me a grandkid!"

So, not only did I rescue her only son from the lonely life of a bachelor (yeah... right...), but I am the golden fertile woman who produced not one, but TWO more grandchildren.

I can do no wrong.

Morning :)
Those dvd players are a life saver in our family. Kept the sanity in the back seat for the 12 hr trip to MIL's in TN & the trip to WDW.

I'm in true LOSER form so far today. Haven't done anything except DIS since we got back from taking #1DS to school. Well I did get the 2 little ones some cereal. Had to call maintence to fix the dryer vent on the outside of the house, it's crumbling apart and I don't want the skinks thinking they have another inlet to the house :scared1: I sure hope the maintence guy doesn't have to come in the house, the only room that's decently cleaned is the kitchen & that's cause of the crazy cleaning jag from yesterday.

Compared to both my own mother, and my MIL, I'm a WINNER.

They are total LOSERS in the highest regard.

My mom can't cook. If it doesn't come in a box, she won't fix it. She can't sew. She tries to garden, but I swear, everything she touches just dies.

My MIL can cook, but won't. She's had a broken oven for about three years now. It's very convienent for her. She literally has grass that's about two foot tall. It will get cut, when someone eventually feels so bad for the poor widow with no lawn mower. She has no money to buy an oven or lawn mower. But she's going to WDW in March.

:snooty: It's wetlands restoration...that's why her grass is long...:lmao:

Seriously? I hire someone to cut my grass.

Morning Losers,

It actually SNOWED last night a little less than an inch so this morning everything was icy :headache: . Took forever to get my car cleaned off because it was snow on top of ice and the roads with so icy and slick. People were doing 25 on the freeway and the freeway was clear :headache: . So I was almost late for work and I left early. The funny part...I was driving up the last main road before my turn into the office and my car started to lose traction on the icy road and this guy in a Jeep behind me kept honking and flashing his lights at me because I was slowing down. What do you want me to do moron? Stop and slide into you? I just kept on my merry way. Plus the moron couldn't change lanes because of traffic.

So now I am at work and Dising.

Here is my Loser moment of the week...I found my registration renewal for my car...it was due on the 18th and I need to get my emissions tested. Another thing for me to do today. Oh joy.

I had all intentions of being a WINNER today.

Sadly, I will have to forgo any attempts at doing anything.

I went for that run yesterday. I haven't worked out since June, so it must have been too much too soon, because I can't move from the waist down without cringing and whining like a little baby.

And of course, with only 11 days til we leave for vacation, DS8 is now getting the crud. I've been giving him medicine and telling him to please try to fight it. I really don't want him missing time from school this close to vacation, since he'll be missing four days while we're gone. But you know how it goes. Of course he'll be sick.

Page 3? Are we winning today?

How about whining?....Oh, wait, that's tomorrow ;)

I was wondering what everyone was up to!!

I figured they either let me wallow alone like the true LOSER I am, or that I had better join that Thread Killer cult.

Hey Losers,
I am home. I was going to go into work today but I had a mamogram first thing in the am and they had to redo it and then do it a differant way and then a ulta sound. But the whole time they said do not worry. Boy did it hurt. I am bruised. So instead of going into work I need to wait for the DR to call and see if I am all set. What a pain. I called my boss and said I will work the afternoon from home. Home is closer to the DRs than work.

So I got another batch of W-2's out today. And not 5 min after the mailman took them our payroll gal calls me and tells me not to let him take them :headache: . Ummmm he already did. Ooops. Ah well...I'm not in trouble so it's all good.

OUCH!!

I've been having a very LOSERish day watching movies & cross stitching (shoot me I like to cross stitch).
I will be having a very WINNERish day tomorrow when I put the two little ones in day care, all day, and coming back to the house and tackling their rooms :scared1: I think 5 hrs is enough time to wade through the messes and get the rooms clean.
