Hello :wave2:

Went to see this last night.
I thought it was really fab.

Anyone seen it / going to see it.

There's lots of snow and action, and a few nice emotional bits.

It comes recommended by me, anyway.

It looks fab ~ I sooo want to see it.

With Christmas just around the corner ~ Think I will have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Pleased you enjoyed it,it looks like a really great film.
We have a tradition of going to the cinema on christmas eve, around 5pm time it keeps the DD's minds occupied for a few hours :teeth:
We usually go and see something light hearted and funny, last year we went to see "Christmas With The Kranks",it was so funny, and really put is in the christmas mood.
I think this year it will have to be Narnia. :wizard:

:earsgirl:

Looking forward to it too. In the meantime I'm re-reading all of the books, just finished Prince Caspian.

I loved the books as a kid!

I think I'll have to wait for the DVD too :(

I love the idea of the cinema Christmas Eve Sharon - I'll just have to wait a few years!

I cant wait to see this, when I was a child I loved the BBC sereis on it. DH bought me the book in Orlando for Christmas. :)

I think it looks great too - and remember the excellent BBC series a few years back. Jonathan Ross didn't think much of it on his TV show the other night - I hate it when "experts" criticise films etc - it's just their opinion after all and everyone likes different things. (I don't watch his show normally but just caught a bit of it as I was channel-hopping. Like his chat show though if he's got interesting guests on). I'm sure it'll be a great film - excerpts I've seen look fantastic.

Every Christmas Eve we used to go to the Cinema and this would have been a perfect film to see this year. I will be one waiting for the DVD too ;)

For anyone who can't go out and see this at the cinema this Christmas but would like an alternative, the animated version is on at 10:10 on ITV1 on Boxing day :)

I must have seen this about 20 times growing up as it was my little sisters favourite film. It's a good one for the kids :)

BIG Narnia fan here :)

We hope to go and see the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe movie at Downtown Disney :)
Also looking forward to seeing the sets at MGM Studios :)

Just got back from seeing this tonight!

It was an excellent film. I was a huge fan of LW&W when I was young and the film is faithful to the book.

I am glad I only took my 9 year old though, there were some scary bits.

I was just saying over on the Disneyland Paris board, I loved the film. :) It was *really* loyal to the book and just so magical. :wizard: I definitely want to see it again! :D

Sounds Wonderful ...Hurry up Christmas Eve.
Think i would rather watch it from Downtown like Tim  :wizard: :wizard:

I was thinking about taking DD 4 to watch this as I can't wait to see it, Do you think it would be too scarey for her to watch in the cinema in the dark?

I saw it last night, and thought it was wonderful! It took me back to being 6 and watching the BBC series on a Sunday afternoon! :teeth:

There were a lot of small children in the cinema yesterday, and although most of them took it in their stride, I noticed a few having problems, particularly towards the end.

Hiya,

Thought some of you might be interested in reading my DFi's review of it: link. You can leave comments on the homepage and we'd love to hear what you think :)

Cya,
