I DID vote for Barack, but my Canadian passport fouled me up! Darnit!

My love, everybody. These political threads depress me too much. I'm going back to discuss the validity of the Swiss Family Treehouse!

I didn't read your location before I posted to you. My apologies.

None of us knew who his appointees would be when we voted for him.

The same would have gone for that other dude. What was his name???

:rolleyes1 I remember a time when a president -elect... got to at least be sworn in as president before folks began saying he was an awful president and did not fulfill his promises....
they were even given 100 days to work on it....
:upsidedow :upsidedow

And I'm not a centrist.
I am a centrist. The reality is that the more "liberal" political party is the only one moral enough, right now, to accept the idea that our society should be inclusive of a variety of perspectives (center-right, center, center-left and left, at least -- the right being excluded only because it, itself, refuses to accept the idea that it could be included with a variety of other perspectives).

Any indications of when the "all clear to attack Hillary" will be given to the rightwing now that she's going to be named Secretary of State? :lmao:

I'll be waiting to see which of the HS who batted for the other team this election come back and give her a good what for. ;)

I'd bet money there will be at least one thread by the end of the day.

I'll be waiting to see which of the HS who batted for the other team this election come back and give her a good what for. ;)

I read this and the first name to pop into my mind was Larry Craig.

Not for anything this election, just the "batting for the other team" comment :rotfl:

But the interesting aspect will be what form the bashing takes.

Did she "sell out"?
Is she taking the job to "push her own agenda"?
Has she been "converted to Obama-ism"?
Are her eyes on 2012?

I can't wait to read the conspiracies.;)

It will be interesting, to say the least. :rolleyes1

I'm sure I read where this is 'actually' a third Clinton administration and Hill and Bill will be pulling Obama's strings from behind the curtain. ;)

Stop it right now! Everyone knows Larry Craig is straight. He just has a wide stance.

I don't even want to know why someone would have a wide stance, by the way.

And YAY! Hillary. I always liked her. Liked Obama better, but am pleased as punch that Hillary will be SOS. She is one bad mamma jamma.

And to that gift that keeps on giving - Sarah Palin - I offer late but still heartfelt thanks! We're supposed to be jealous of her, envious of her and a thousand other things. We are not really disgusted by her self-aggrandizing b.s.

Oh I hope, hope, hope she's the 'new face of the Republican Party'.

Actually, I have a lot of issues with SP, but none of them have anything to do with jealousy. Her "values" are completely different than mine. She's tacky. I don't like some of her parenting choices. She isn't educated. She's inarticulate. She is an embarrassment to other women. And you know what? I don't think she's a very nice person, to be blunt. The way she went after Obama was just wrong. She's a liar and she hides behind her "Christianity." Yeah, buy it if you want, but it's crap.

Can you ship me some? I have no Whole Foods...and the guidelines clearly state that sending arugula to a fellow lib can be deducted on the charitable portion of your taxes. :rolleyes1

Really, no Whole Foods? I suppose it's not your fault, so I won't report you. This time.

Nope. That happens when you live in a city of only 35,000. We're dominated by the devil/Wal-mart.

That's right. I said it.

I enter the devil to get my elitest arugula. I have no other options. :rolleyes1

I once lived in Arkansas. I feel your pain.

We don't have a Whole Foods within 40 miles. :sad1:

I buy mine at the local farmer's market.

I am elitier-than-thou. :rotfl2:

Hah. Got ya' beat. I travel 215 miles for my Whole Foods/Trader Joe's.

I heart Trader Joe's. :lovestruc

I walk to mine. Which wouldn't be such a big deal, but I also carry a family of illegal aliens to work while I do it. I drop them off, then I go in and buy my food. While I'm there, I tutor the young college boys who work there. Okay, I don't exactly tutor them. But sometimes, I compliment them on their tatoos.

Coughing fit induced. Thanks Chris.

But, can you COMPARE your tattoos?

:snooty:

And I have family members who are illegal. Not illegal aliens. But, my Uncle Gabby sells wacky tobacky out of the trailer in his backyard.
