If I had one super power, it would be the ability to give people violent diarreah. Think about how much fun you could have. Bush is talking . . . BAM . . . violent diarreah. You're in a deposition and the other side starts bothering you . . . BAM . . . violent diarreah, right in his/her pants. Someone in a big obnoxious SUV cuts you off . . . well, you get the picture.

I'd even wear tights and a cape.

Our friend who is in D.C. for the inauguration and is attending one of the balls, said that after the plane landed this morning and everyone stood up and started getting their luggage down, someone on the plane yelled out, "Obama!" and everyone on the plane started clapping and cheering. She said that positive energy and happiness is everywhere in D.C.

Sorry you weren't able to make it, PR. At least you have friends there who can give you updates. Take care of yourself!

Qucik story before I go make dinner.

Coming out of the grocery store (out of arugula )there's a F350 parked next to me and the dude who owns it is standing behind my car reading my bumper stickers. This really isn't unusual-they always bring comments. So I he has 3 McCain/Palin bumper stickers, and 1 NoBAMA. I have my "Got Hope?" and my "Yes We Did!". SO the guy says-losts like I win. SO I say "Uh, I'm sorry who's being inaugurated tomorrow???".

Isn't life serendipitous .

I think Jill stepped in some do-do. They have already released a retraction. I'm sure this will be the talks on all the talk shows tomorrow too. I wish she hadn't said that. It makes it look like Clinton was his second pick.

Hey Lisa - dig this. I was reading email today from my daughter's elem. school and thought maybe it might mention if they were going to watch the inaug. tomorrow. My husband was in the office with me and he asked "What's the big deal about the inaguration?" (Yes, we're a house divided politically, but he's just not die hard or rude about it). I said "Are you serious?? Take away political views and ideology...this event is so remarkable and momentous historically speaking. Of course I would expect that the kids witness it."

So I really think there are people who just really don't get it. Sure some are hating, but some really are non-plussed.

One may wonder if Clinton would have been VP if Biden didn't take the slot? Who knows. I am happier with Biden as VP.
