Another bakery I know of is hiring... Why are all these bakeries hiring all of a sudden?

How slow is slow? How was DL other than maybe a little crowded?

It was fun! I can't believe we were on Disney property from 12 to 12!

Sliding my foot into this thread....not quite sure what all has been said although I did read some posts from the past! So I'll give a little intro about myself.

I have been posting daily on the Games board for about 6 weeks and become addicted between my calls at work and slow times at home!

And I do luv reading and seeing anything from 'down under'. Used to teach Geography here and my Mother has some good friends somewhere in Australia (have to find out where).

As PrincessInOz and a couple others could tell you from my BUMP posts we are in the middle of a kitchen, living/family room renovation and finishing our basement. I can't remember the last time we had a working kitchen sink. And to think I miss it so

Well, I went by the one that I called today and they're hiring, but require kitchen experience. They MIGHT be willing to train me if they don't find anyone more qualified. So... We'll see.

I hope so There's another one I'm going to run by tomorrow, and then there's a pet store near my friend Kris' house that's having open interviews on Monday (I think), and then a grocery store is having open interviews on the 13th. So hopefully something will come through soon.

Decided before posting more that I should review what I missed over the last few days.

Looks like Queenie had a good break from lasting.


Still sick. I have a cough that makes me wish I could spit out phlegm but am not producing much. So the cough is mostly irrating and not progressive. I decided after a mostly sleepless night on Sunday that I would take nyquil until it's gone. Because I could only fall asleep for a minute or two until I cough and became wide awake. At least the nyquil calms the cough, and for a couple times helps me sleep until I develop a tollerance. I'm convinved this little cough is a gift from DS who is feeling fine now.



Did ok shopping. I was mostly in it for a couple clothing items and back to school, school supplies for DS. Ended up with a globe and some Disney movies that were onsale in Walmart which I'll hold onto until Christmas. I did walk into the mall through an anchor store that had a bunch of racks at 50% off plus and extra 50% off. That took about an hour and $100 for some shirts I wasn't looking for.

Went to the big chinese buffet place, and wasn't as happy as the last visits. Dinner at Texas Roadhouse was good.

Seemed really quiet on the roads, and in most places except the mall which I hadn't been in for a few years. Walmart was looking fairly busy for our 11pm visit.

Watched a lot of Football this weekend and enjoyed a bunch of upsets.

Well I hope you feel better soon. Texas Roadhouse is good. Well I hope you got some things accomplished.

At least I took care of the school supply list.

And the teams I most wanted to win, did win.

But the team I most wanted to loose, squeeked through. Then I had to listen to people talk about them like they are the greatest team ever.
