I was told by a CM that we could not enter early like MVMCP Last year we got there at 4:30 with our hard tickets I guess we will see the first night Hurry and come 01/22 so we can get the scoop I got park tickets (no hopper this time) thougt we would go in the morning and then go back to CSR rest and head out again around 5:00

My son really does not enjoy dressing up (he is a cool 7 year old) but (this is a surprise trip) I got him a PofC shirt on sale at the Disney Store for $6 I did want him to have something in case he did want to dress up then at the Target dollar spot they have some cool pirate gear for a $ eye patchs swords and hook hands

as for my daughter who is 6 (hates dress) I have her tink warm up outfit and bought her a pretty tink wreath for head I also got her pirate stuff in case she wants to be a pirate for $ who cares

Received our tickets for the party today.

The pirates are coming.

Doobie-doobie-do :scared1:

Hi, everyone!
Me. my DH and DD2 are going to be at the Jan. 29th party! I called yesterday and booked our ADR at LTT at 5pm. This was a last minute surprise trip and being able to go to the P&PP is the icing on the cake!

DH will be dressed as a pirate, me as a pirate princess and DD as a princess! I cannot wait! It is going to be a blast!:cool1:

I may be going to one of these by myself, is anyone planning to do a meet and greet type of thing...?

For anyone who is dressing up for the P&PP and eating dinner in the park, are you dressing up for dinner as well??? We have 5:00 reservations at LTT on 2/5 and want to make sure it's okay to be dressed up before the party. DD is going to be Belle, DS a pirate, DH prince charming, I will be Cinderella and my parents are going as pirates. So all 6 of us will be dressed-up!! We can't wait!! :yay:

I read some unconfirmed info. on another website:
-They've apparently set up P&P themed displays near the entrance of MK to advertise the party.
-There is talk of testing the P&P fireworks on Jan. 17 and 20 after MK closes, maybe 11pm.
-Rumor is that the parade will be shown at 8:30 and 10:30pm and the fireworks at 9:45pm, and that the fireworks will be full perimeter.

Again, this is unconfirmed! I just wanted to share what I read with my fellow news-hungry DIS friends.

yes thanks for sharing Liz we are news hungry Can't wait for the first batch of party goers to give us a report!

My group of 6 (DH, DD2, ME and 3 friends) are going in full out pirate (yes I will have full ostrich plumes on my pirate tricorn) and will be going to the parks dressed. Have dinner ADR at LTT for the Jan 26th party. So yes is my answer to your question. Going to bring a light baby towel and pin to cover DD for the meal.

My girls were pirates for Halloween this year. 10 & 3. My MIL made the costumes. They will not be wearing them to the party on February 1st. We are flying in that afternoon and trying to book it over to the MK for early dinner at the plaza before it closes. Too busy!

That is a small oval picture frame for my little one's gaudy belt!

Those costumes are adorable !!! Too bad they can't wear them. DNeph (9) and I will both be wearing pirate costumes :thumbsup2 (he was also a pirate for halloween last year and I put together some pieces that will pass - simply because we have so much fun when we dress up!) - and we'll have them on for our dinner at LTT, too. I'm hoping the characters (at LTT) that night will be dressed like they are for the halloween and christmas parties - except in pirate or princess costumes. pirate: princess:

I wish I was going with a young child so I could dress up. I'm only 20 but I am going with my 16 yr old brother and my Grandmother and I have tried convincing them to dress up with me, but they just laugh at me:rotfl:

I think I am going to wear a tiara and my purple POTC shirt and call myself a pirate princess:thumbsup2

I am very excited to go back to Disney, though. And I'm hoping Captain Jack will be doing "meet n greets" since it sounds like the princesses will be doing that.

How soon will those going on 1-22 post a report for the rest of us? We leave early 1-25 for a 3-night Disney cruise, then will be at P&P on 1-29. My dd will turn 4 on 1-29 and I am not sure how late she will stay up, hoping for some advice, or a report of this first party before I leave.
