My DH and I are going to the first one on Jan 22!!!! pirate: pirate:

Called a CM today and got reservations at LTT for 5:45, and was told you would be able to enter the park if you have ADR early. How early is early? Was told when I purchased the ticket no early entry even with ADR? Go figure, guess I'll see what happens when I get there.

So excited, leaving three weeks from today!!!!!!

We are going on Feb 5th. We are so excited to be going but haven't ordered the tickets yet. Do you know how long we have to get befor the full price is in effect? Can't wait to hear about the parties.:wizard:

From the way they word it, seems to me any tickets purchased prior to the actual day of the event are considered Advance Purchase.

We are going Feb. 8th. This is our first specail event. We made a ADR at LTT for 5:00. Since we have our party tickets and an ADR we won't have to use a regular park ticket to get in. Correct? My kids are little and we need to relax all day so they can stay up late. I have a 10 day non expiry pass and I am trying to get 3 trips out of my tickets.
Tara

That seems to be correct from what the CM's are saying to those making ADR's.

We are going to DW for our first trip ever! :yay: I am thinking about this party. :scratchin Is it really worth the extra money? We arrive on 7th of March and had planned on March 8 as a day in MK anyway. My DD's are 5 & 3. Is this something for them or do you think it is for kids who are little bit older? So I guess if we do go it will have to be the 8th. We are at DW for 8 nights, 9 days and bought 6 day park hopper plus tickets. Looking for advice. :headache:

Well it's hard to say since noone has been to this party yet. :) My famliy has been to one after hours party, and that was MVMCP. I felt it was worth it, and my boys were 6, 4 and almost 2 at that time. I personally think the description of this party sounds like fun for all ages!:wizard:

So excited, leaving three weeks from today!!!!!!

In the past they have let people into these after hours parties 3 hours early. So for this one that would be 4:30pm. But, there's no way to know for sure that they'll do that with this party too. They may, but then again they may only let those with ADR's in early. And it may be a case by case thing depending on crowd levels and such.

I'm sure however they do it they'll have the best intentions in mind. :wizard:

And 3 weeks from today...woohoo for you!! :cheer2: I wish ours was too!

Just rearranged our entire vaction plan (moved from May to Feb/Mar) around the March 5th P&P party! :scared1: Ordered tickets this past week, and just got 8yo DD a Belle dress. 10yo DD is totally into pirates, but doesn't really like dressing up, so I'll have to see about a t-shirt maybe for her. For me, it will be a t-shirt, no costumes here, thanks! I'm excited and they have NO CLUE that we're going! :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

:thanks: for the reply. Still thinking. I'll probably wait until we read some reviews! :goodvibes

My 2 DD's (9&17) and I are going on 2-15. Both girls have spina bifida and are in wheelchairs. The oldest one is going to be a female pirate and the youngest one is going to be Snow White.

When the oldest one was 9 she and I went to MVMCP and had a blast so I hope this is just as much fun.

We are eating at 1900 Fare and riding the monorail over to the park.

We will be going on February 8th!! I think it will be fun for ALL ages. Heck, I am 20 years old and I am very excited to dress up as a Princess Pirate:banana: I won't be fully dressed in costume, but it will still be fun. I'm trying to convince my Grandma and brother to dress up to, but I don't see that happening:laughing: Even if the whole Princess/Pirate theme doesn't interest them, they will still enjoy the rides/parade/fireworks.

princess: :woohoo: pirate:

Just organized all our costumes. Me and my sis, and 4 dd's are all going to be princesses. DH and BiL are going to be pirates. Dh is fighting me a little bit on the costume. But I will not relent. He will dress up and have fun, darn it! LOL

We are eating at Cinderella's at 5:25. This will also be our first special event on 1/22!

Ten Days!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I can't wait!!!!!!

Kanda,
We will not be dressing up. My DS7 and Hubby say no way. I guess they are just too cool. :snooty: I might be able to get my DD5 to dress up with me.

Yeah!! Just bought tickets today for the 22nd!! I thought it might be too late for the girls, but what the heck! I think I'm more excited than the kids!! I have never been to any ticketed event at Disney before! So, does this mean they close the park early (I know, stupid question, but...).... Also made ADR at Tony's at 4:40, we have never eaten there before either, but the menu looks great!!

My daughter and I will see you there on the 2nd. pirate: princess:

Looks like I'm single-parenting this one, so you'll all be there to back me up, right? ;)

As for the costume question, I'm worried about keeping DD warm enough. We have enough struggles about her wanting to wear her "Belle Dress" now, without adding to them on the night of. Usually I can convince her to wear it over top of other, warmer clothing (which garners some great looks from strangers on those shopping trips, let me tell you). Any tips from you experienced parents on the dress-up-dress=freezing factor?

I posted this on the Creative Designs Thread
I borrowed two creative DIS'ers (Please tell me your name so I can put them in here) images and put the words on. If you want me to remove the image let me know

I'll be there with a friend on the 1st :) We won't be dressed up though.

My little one will be dressed up and I just bought a pirate and a "princess pirate" t-shirt for DH and me. That's as much costuming I could convince DH to do.

My husband wants to go as the pirate guy from the movie Dodgeball!! I don't think so!!

My son turns 5 on January 26th and we will be attending the pirate and princess party too after the day at MK.. He dosent know about this yet I plan to surprise him with a pirate costume after we are done at MK and tell him that he gets to be a real pirate that night... I cant wait to see his face!!! now i am just trying to figure out the best place that night to reserve a character dining for him.... im debating on whether to dress up too or keep my "mommy of the birthday boy" shirt on lol..
