The Jan/Feb/Mar 2007 Pirate & Princess Party thread!

I am thinking about taking my ds (7) to the pirate and princess party on jan. 29th. I have adr in downtown disney for 5pm that evening.I dont know much info on this party is that enough time to get back before party starts. any info would be gr8 .ty

Yes, it's enough time. If you're out of dinner around 6:00 you should be able to make it to MK by 7:00ish. However, you might consider choosing a restaurant in or near MK just for the sake of convenience and saving travel time. Besides, most of here expect Disney to allow early entry into the P&P parties as they have in the past for MNSSHP and MVMCP. If you can get in as early as 4:30 or 5:00 and want to be there that long it gives you more bang for your buck as far as the cost of the tickets goes.

This Christmas should be called the Holly Jolly Roger season. Pirates are in every store and DD got a Mr. Potatohead Pirate set as a gift.

We're going on Feb 15 and this whole trip is a Christmas surprise for my girls. The Tickets are really cute, some a the Incredibles on them the Adults have where dreams come true with Mickey.

We have just decided to go to the Party on February 8! I called to make ADRs today at Crystal Palace and all that was available was 4:55pm. We will not have park admission that day to MK, but I have always gotten into MK early for the other parties. Just want to know if you think 4:55pm ADRs will be okay and I will be able to get into the park by 5:00pm?

I got a Christmas bonus, and the hospital removed our debt to them for the stay entirely!!!!! (We only have to deal with the extras.) Thanks for any pixie dust y'all may have sent my way. I am looking to buy our Pirate and Princess Party Tickets for February 1 tomorrow during my lunch hour.

DH had a custom pirate tricorn made for me as a Christmas present.....it is sooooo cool ostrich feathers and all!! I can't wait....I am also teaching my DDalmost2 to say "Parlay" on que.

Now if only I can get her to say "I will not acquiese to your request...." that would be hiliarious....

Okay, I could not wait. I went ahead and bought our tickets for Feb. 1. I do have a question though. From what I understand, The passholders get a discount that is for them and one guest. I assumed that meant that I could get a discount on all of my tickets. 3 Adults (2 are passholders, one not) and 1 child (my DD is a passholder as well. Do you think I interpretted that right, and my friend coming along without a pass or regular park ticket, could get into the park for an ADR and the party with one of the adult tickets? Sorry if this makes no sense. I am about to go to bed. Blame any confused on exhaustion from....

I won't be going to the parties, since we are going in June. My pics are from 2004 MNSSHP. They let us in then as they had no Jack in the parks then, and other than security harrassing us when OTHER PEOPLE wanted to take pictures of my son's in costume, we had a great time.

I made the costumes including the wig and I rode my scooter behind them watching the reactions, it was great.

Wish first, that I could get the boys to do it again and second that they would still be allowed in and third that we could attend during the times they are having the parties.

I found out when we were there that Johnny Depp had been in the park with his family but in full Jack costume the day before, mostly riding space mountain. LOL, I would have Killed for a picture of my Jack and Will Turner with THE Jack himself.

One is Belle, the other Cinderella. I cannot wait, I've never been to an after hours park event before.

We're going on 2/23, but we haven't told DS yet. Somehow, he still seems to know. He's already talking about "being Jack Sparrow at Disney World again" (we went to MNSSHP in Oct.).

Are Liberty Tree and Tony's the only restraunts open during the party? I was hoping for Crystal Palace, but don't know if I can make it to FW and get set up in time to get there.

We're going on 2/15. Does anyone know what time you can enter the MK with just a P&PP ticket? We have an ADR at LTT for I think 6:15 but my husband is afraid we won't be allowed in that early. (We will not have park tickets other than Party tickets cause our APs just expired on Tuesday and we're only going to be in WDW for a couple of days before we leave on our Disney cruise.)
