The Ip-Dip Fry Daddy Dude Fest '08 - PTR by the camping dude

I did a fast search and found a fairly decent site for packing for camping. Here's the link: http://www.creativehomemaking.com/organizing/packing-camping.shtml

Thanks!

I have a running thread on the camping board, also.

I am a weird person. When I travel, I am either very very spartan or an extreme overpacker. In life I am a clutterbug, so I am usually pretty spartan when I travel. (except to Cayman. Dunno why :confused3 )

I have already got a packing list written up for the trip. :) It is way way way shorter than most packing lists. Especially because I will be at WDW, not cooking, and basically using my tent as a hotel room. :)

Glad I didn't scare you off. :thumbsup2

I have over 1000 posts. I am cool. I was going to make post 1000 something momentous, but I didn't notice doing it. So typical of me.

:sad2:

SO!

a tent :scared1:
a tent putting-up kit (or whatever it's called)
.
I thought you ordered a tent during your island adventure! :confused3 Or were you just LOOKING at tents??
They have cabins too, ya know. :rolleyes1...and condos too, I hear! ;)

HHBG won't let me order a tent "blind". :headache: He's making me go to the Cabelas store in phoenix and check out the tents before I can buy one.

I almost was going to have to sleep under the stars...or in one of the kids toy tents.....I blew my entire four digit camping budget (and then some) on a Gucci purse....but I'm returning it tomorrow.

Yup!

Me likee sugar daddy hubby. :thumbsup2

course, he is making me return it....and on valentines day, too.

get a wallet they r cheaper. I have a Gucci wallet and love it.

Hi all, new to the boards but read all of buzzs' trip report or at least the week he has finished anyways. May be planning a trip in Oct. with the family might see you all down there

Even 3 digits!! :faint:

Iirc, I spent about $110 on a Perlina bag once (or was it $150?). That was my first nice purse, ever, about 10 years ago, and it lasted about 5-6 years. My current everyday purse I spent about $90, and it has been a workhorse for the past couple of years. I've found cheap purses just don't hold up to the abuse I dish out to them!

I got Gucci Sunglasses, instead. :thumbsup2 I needed new ones, anyway.

:welcome:

HIYA! It would be great to see you there!!

Yikes. I don't think I could get myself to do that. I had a hard enough time barely breaking 3 digits!

Even 3 digits!! :faint:

Uh, I break 3 digits for sunglasses. But then again, (ask Scott,) in New York, that just doesn't seem so horrible. :) I am weird...though talking to a lot of people I know in new York, I am not alone in this: I wear cheap shirts and buy my jeans on Ebay. My socks come from target. I wear a plastic (stitch) watch, and carry a cheap (Stitch) wallet. I have everything ranging from $.99 - $600 shoes....but I pay up for handbags and sunglasses. :confused3

HHBG is the same way. He wears CUSTOM, hand made suits to work every day.....we're talking 4 digit suits here, people, and the first digit isn't 1. The same people make him custom dress shirts. ANd he wears ties from the DOLLAR store.

As for the bag.....It was GUCCI!!

And I returned it.

He better get me something nice for valentine's day. :sad1:
