I feel like I've been gone for so long, 3-day weekends kick my butt. The weather was awful all weekend, then the sun came out as we were heading back to NY

I bought a black dress to wear to the Christening on Saturday, I think it's a little snug but whatever. I know it sounds awful of me, but I really don't want to go

Still waiting on CJ's results. The doc just said to go ahead and start the gluten free diet. Most disappointing to him, no cinnamon rolls or donuts. And, we realized today, no kit kats or twix.

Great dress Snap! I'm sure it looks wonderful on you. As for family affairs, I'll be attending a graduation party for my niece and nephew on the 18th. Not looking forward to it. BIL and I haven't spoken in years and he's an obnoxious drunk. However, SIL did come to PK's communion (with my niece) and was her sponsor for confirmation last year so I feel I have to. First time he gets obnoxious with me, I might have to lay him out though. You know, I'll have to go all Jersey on his butt.

I was just going to wear black pants and a blouse, then we had to go to the mall on Monday to get a birthday gift for my friend and I saw this dress on sale, right by the door. Couldn't go wrong for the price, and I figure I can't go wrong with a simple black dress and sandals.

I'm good. Test went well. No big surprises. Watched the video you recommended yesterday. Thought it was quite funny. BJ looked like he was having a good time, but those big guys who looked like they might have been his bodyguards didn't look too happy with the moshers.

There were two big, huge guys wearing black t-shirts. Looked like they were trying to keep everyone away from him. How much fun can you have in a mosh pit all by yourself? As for coolest dad, I'm torn. I think he's cool because he's famous, but if the father of one of PK's friends acted like him, I don't know. I think I'd be concerned. Double standard for sure.

I think his wife keeps them all grounded. She never seems to be far from any of them. It is a different life, being famous. I hope maybe he can protect his son from some of the things he went through. I also think a lot of what he does is just playing the part of the punk rocker.

I think you're right. I think it's like Bruce Willis. I love Bruce Willis, but if he was just any guy walking down the street, I probably wouldn't look twice, KWIM? Any guy in his 30's who's still working the club scene and can't provide for his family because he's still chasing is dream is a loser, it's only when they hit it big that it's cool to be in your 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's... and be a rockstar. Otherwise, for me, it just comes across as pathetic. Kind of like -- it's time to grow up already. (I'm sure I'll get my butt handed to me for that).
