Morning ladies (and pirate)! How's everyone been? I've been busy in work with a new attorney and had Parent/Teacher night last night. I'm a little upset with PrincessK at the moment and her grades, but we're working on correcting that. Not much fun for her and she's been told she won't be getting a new iPhone anytime soon. Time to redirect her attention to her studies and not her social life.

As for Snap's question about Pakey's chicken, there was a thread about a man who was killed by a fighting rooster who had a knife attached to it's foot and the rooster stabbed him. Pakey was kind enough to share a very funny story about an ex-employee who came to work with his fighting rooster strapped to his back 'cause he didn't have time to drop it off at home before coming to work.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Hope all is well with everyone and we're back dishing our life stories soon enough.

Oh, and I found a fantastic bacon recipe in the paper last night that I'll share tonight when I get home, so check the Swine Flu thread tonight or tomorrow.

Hi everyone! I've had the winter doldrums and thought it best to direct my snarky feelings *elsewhere*

I thought you wanted me to get lost, I'm much too sensitive.

I woke up with a huge blanket mark on my face this morning. Why won't it go away???? It looks like someone went at me with a knife.

I have a very exciting day planned:

I think I should start some trouble somewhere, just in the interest of entertaining you all

I woke up yesterday and my knuckles on my left hand looked bruised for a half hour because I was clenching them so hard in my sleep.

Baby V's 2 month well check is today. As usual, I'll have all 6 with me. She should be getting quite a few vaccines. Poor little thing, it's like they use babies for pin cushions.


BTW, can you believe she's already 2 months?
