I also booked a Disney trip for August. Free dining offer was about to run out, so I booked it with the $200 deposit. It won't be a big deal if I have to cancel, so I thought why not? Waiting to see if any good deals come out for the Atlantis in the Bahamas. If we get a good deal, we'll be going there, if not it's Disney.

Anyone ever stay at POFQ? We love CBR, but thought it was time for a change.

I'm around too; just have been working long hours. Year end is not a special holiday time for me; it's long hours.

PK, I'm a deluxe kind of gal but I did spend one night at POFQ. Not my cup of tea at all. I preferred my one night I spent at Pop over POFQ. I've not stayed at any of the other mod or values so can't really compare but I'd take Pop over POFQ, if that helps.

Have you been to Atlantis before?

We are going to WDW the last week of October, taking middle son, his wife and 5 year old grandson. They've had lots of drama between the son/wife on our last 3 vacations together so we aren't overly excited about it. If we didn't feel that we should take our grandson, we'd probably not be making this trip. Hopefully it will turn out okay. I've got 11 months to dread it.

All I want for Christmas is for it to stop raining.

Pakey, I'm curious as to what it was you didn't like about POFQ. Whenever you have a minute I'd love your opinion on the resort. Also, I've never been to Atlantis before. Hoping for a good deal (4th night free, free companion airfare) or it's not going to happen, so I thought I should jump in on free dining.

Sorry to hear you're not too excited about your next trip, but I completely understand about traveling with family. My MIL tried to invite herself a few years ago and I convinced her it wouldn't be a good idea.

Hope your weather gets better soon. Can't believe the images I'm seeing on the TV.

I'm in the middle of a blizzard right now, I can't believe the wind and blowing snow!!! We are expecting 24 inches in NYC!

Morning Snap! No one is happier than me that I'm on vacation this week. Looks like the end of the world out there right now. Went out and shoveled last night and you'd never know looking outside right now. DH is out there now. I'm going to wait a few hours and hopefully the wind will die down. Glad my American Idiot tickets aren't until next weekend. Looks like I'll have warmer temps and some rain to deal with, but it's much better than snow.
