Poor Alicia, that sucks :sad2: We were definitely born into the wrong gender.

DS (15) has been coughing his lungs up for the last 5 days - he's been lying in bed ( with his ipod and laptop!)while I take up medicine, cups of tea and trays of food!! Oh, to be the male of the species :)

Hope you feel better soon

LOL

My DH nearly copped a broccoli head to the head last night, he'd used the last of the frozen peas and when I asked him (while he was on the cross trainer with the earphones on) if we had any more or if he did in fact use the last of them he looked at me like I had two heads and said "what?"
So his dinner last night looked like a 2 year olds with steak, roast carrot and mashed potato, he doesn't like broccoli.
I got this mental picture of piffing it at him while he was cross training away and him toppling off...

I'm spoilt :love2: DH does all our cooking, and makes me lunch and everything... Well when he's home he does, if he's away for work I go over to mum's to get fed :lmao:

I have no idea what my insurance has. I will have to check with our office as they do all of that. Some of my family have more than one car thankfully so I will be able to use one of their spares whilst mine is in being fixed, phew! I don't know what she is going to do. I sent a text this afternoon after I received the quote and she said she will talk later. I don't think she will be happy, thinking it would be under $500. European car, damaged electronics, no chance :sad1: But as I have to see her all the time for the next 7 years of school, then I hope it all ends up amicable. It's actually easier having a bingle with a stranger!

Oh how exciting that you are getting yours back :cool1: It's terrible being without your car!

:headache::furious::furious: Sorry but i have to vent The ***** Tax office back in Feb when i spoke to them about my Audit they told me i didnt need to provide them with receipts when i asked if i could hurry the process up by sending them my receipts fast forward 10 flippin weeks i get a letter today asking for my receipts :furious: certified birth certificates for the kids plus more and they want a letter from Centerlink stating i was entitled to FTB A from 2010 they are connected to them by computer it takes them a few seconds to get that info.
So i have just spent the morning trying to find a letter with the info on it and have found everything but the one i need
OK rant over and i apoligise if any one works for the ATO:lmao:

:cloud9:On a good note we got Mickey mail today and i cant tell anyone cause DH went back to work today and the kids still don't know about the cruise:rotfl2:

That sucks. No one likes getting audited, and they have to make it so difficult. :sad2:

But yay for Mickey Mail! It makes everything worth while :goodvibes

wow. audits suck, and it sucks even harder that the ATO is being a pain to you. sending good vibes your way that they manage to sort it out for you asap.

yay for mickey mail though -- you know you can always tell us :) i actually squee-ed out loud when mine arrived.

It was great to get mickey mail and luckily i could shove it in the great big envelope from the tax department so the kids couldn't see it:rotfl:

Just found out that I do have hire car coverage :cool1: Prestige vehicle for up to 14 days :cool1: Not sure what a "prestige" vehicle is? but I guess I will find out soon! Made me chuckle, wondering what the poor hire car will be thinking, renting a car to someone who has just smashed their car. :rotfl:
Now to put the claim in :surfweb:

Not much happening, most of the time my job irritates the hell out of me, today they're asking people if they want to take annual leave to save wages LOL
I said "i'm not using annual leave but i'll chuck a free sicky"
"What day do you want?"

:thumbsup2

In saying that i'm tipping the next 4 months i'll be working in the equivalent of a circus if they're that willing to let people have days off for the hell of it...
Oh the joys ;)
