Another off topic discussion
I have been in my current job for sixteen years - started when my DD was 6mths old - 3days per week receptionist. I have since moved on to payroll and accounts, still 3 days per week.
The company is great, dont bat an eyelid when I turn up at 9:30, when my kids were in primary school I told them I cant drop them before 8:30 so I will get there when I get there, at one point I found another job closer to home and they basically said "name your price"- I am paid well for what I do - (although not enough to afford annual OS trips

)
Its not that I am that great, but I am reliable and I think they are just lazy about having to find a replacement
I actually resigned when my twins were born and they rang me twelve months later to do 6 weeks relief. My twins will be fifteen in October!
But,......I am bored - its a small company so career options are nil - I have hit the ceiling -
I am 43 - is this it until retirement? I really would be foolish to go elsewhere in this climate and even though my kids are now teenagers, I like still working only 3days.
Let the therapy begin........(first world problems, I know...)
