do you have Super Target?
I am thinking that I will get a couple of huge bags of rice at Costco that I can put in large tupperware bins and put under our bed. Also, I can stack canned fruit & veggies under our bed.
do you have Super Target?
My under bed storage is Christmas stuff.Camping equipment took over our small storage locker in the building basement.
Half my hall closet is dialysis supplies, other half is the stockpile.. but I need shelves to organize it.
Nope. But we do have 4 Winco's nearby. I think there might be some over in Portland, but not here on the Washington side. We do have Grocery Outlet, they buy overstocks direct from the manufacturer and have great deals on really odd brands that I've never heard of.![]()
Hoping that people will part with their expired turkey wine tags for a low trading fee after Thanksgiving.
I can use expired coupons, I go to trading board websites and ask around for their exprireds.. netting me a ton of groceries for pennies per item.
I overdid on the turkey wine tags one year, we got sick of turkey everything.. hot dogs, ground turkey, pepperoni, lunch meat, roasts, tenderloins, breasts, legs.. we had it all. BLECK!
Then I had coupons on steak at Sup[er Target, got sick of steak-- made MIL happy sending her home with three grocery bags full of steak![]()
cool, I like odd places like that. We have one that sells expired food, still safe to eat. But it creeps hubby out, can't blame him though.. it is odd to buy that way.
What is Turkey Wine Tags???![]()
Yep, my kids are starting to read labels and freaking out if something is expired. My explanation...if it say's "Best By date"...well I figure that means we have 3 categories, Good, Better and Best! If it's after the "Best By" date then that means it's still "Better" and even if it's really old then it falls into the last category of "Good".Isn't that how the "Best By" dates work?

There's no room in the hall closet for coats. Not sure what I will do when it comes time for coat/snowpants season.. umm where will I put it?![]()
It doesn't help they put cheapie plastic braces to hold the top shelf and the closet rod. It's cracked on one side already, needed to do some careful rearranging of supplies to prevent further problems. Grrrrr, darn owner gives cheap a bad name!
Wine tags are coupons that are attached to a bottle of wine (neck tag style) or hanging on a tear pad in the wine section of a grocery store. The good ones say "no wine purchase necessary" and have no state restrictions.
Some are get $ off x when you by x brand wine... which won't work for me, no wine sold in grocery stores in MN.
Wine tag coupons can be off bread, ice, salty snacks, cheese, seafood, chocolate, beef, chicken, paper/picnic goods, and turkeyWhatever goes best with the season.. turkey Thanskgiving time, Chocolate around Valentine's, salty snacks in summer or fall football season.. etc.
Good Better Best.. hey I like that line of reasoning![]()

You haven't lived until you've seen me wearing a flannel shirt, shorts and black rubber boots!![]()
I wonder if they have those here? I've never heard of them. I'll have to check out the wine section next time I'm in the grocery store. But I don't think I've ever seen them.![]()
Just found a website saying that WA state does allow wine tags. Also says that OR allows them, but OR law always requires that you do not have to purchase the wine to get discount.![]()
Keep talking Bernice, by the time you're done my groceries will be free.![]()

College students get ready for spring break around here when the sun comes out.. they wear shorts, sweatshirt, fuzzy socks while sitting on a beach chair on porch roof.![]()
It's the only way to get a big dose of sunshine, perpetual grey skies for weeks on end until spring.![]()
