Hubby is puttering his way to bed, I think I will slink off that way too.
I hate crawling into bed after he has gone to sleep, every bit of noise or light wakes him. Not to mention.. he snores and then I can't fall asleep
He's subbing for the next two days-- easy peasy assignment as a resource teacher (title I and gifted pull out class, plus he is organizing a classroom library).
We were just talking about if he likes that style of teaching-- maybe pursue special ed or reading specialist. He's getting into the groove of subbing, pick up phone and notice message waiting GULP -- he has been asked for an interview for a MS science positon.
At first he thought of not bothering.. then decided any interview is good practice.
It puts us in a tight spot, trying to decide "is it worth it?"
As terrible as it sounds.. it may be more cost effective to NOT have him work.
No out of pocket medical expenses as an employed person with diability.. he gets medical aid from the state to cover the 20% medicare does not cover.
It's sucky - work and feel good about yourself, but after expenses in health insurance and co-pays/deductible.. would make just as much staying home and working just a few days a month.
There has to be a better way to help people with health care.
