kaytieeldr said:Two things - first, there's a link in one of the posts on page one of this thread that displays the actual room 'designation' for the Pop buildings (room numbers, K or D, connection indications). I believe it's primary purpose is accessible rooms, but it shows most/all of a single floor layout.
But I'm curious why people are interested in a specific room? To me, it makes more sense to tell the CM what features you're seeking than to ask for a particular room. I mean, what if 3428 or whatever is taken the day you arrive?
I figured if someone knew the immediate answer that it would just be a simple question to answer.
Also asked about that specific room because another poster had stated that it was lakeside with view of fireworks.
Just curious thats all.
As with any request, I understand it's just a request, however when we used to camp at Fort Wilderness, and people stated why certain sites were "better", (for varying reasons) I found those site suggestions were always more accurate than what a CM stated.
I am assuming that this is probably true at POP as well. I have found INVALUABLE
advice/expertise on the DIS boards. The more questions that I have asked, the more info I have to plan an awesome vacation!!!! :thewave:legalslave said:Madge - FYI - Port Orleans doesn't have a marina.

Are there connecting rooms in all bldgs? It looks like either side of that wing would work pretty well. Am I right?

I have an upcomming trip planned for Pop and would like to bring my DVD player. Do the TV's have hookups for the 3 colored plugs???? I know they should have them. However, irecently stayed in a motel and the tv didn't have any jacks on it. Thanks in advance.
Yes, they have the RCA jacks in the front. To activate the port, tune to channel 00. (You can use the Up/Down or press 00)littlestix said:This question has probably been asked before but, I didn't want to read the entire thread.

We aren't picky about room location as we will have our own car and probably won't be eating in the food court all that often. Is there anything we should add to our room location requests besides N/S and connecting rooms??? Those are our 2 main wishes .. anything else would be icing on the cake. Any suggestions you have would be GREATLY appreciated.

I know when we went in Feb, we had the rooms with door between the 2 & I do not remember which I asked for
Kala said:Actually, I think that's reversed. I think connecting is with a door that opens and adjoining means next to each other.![]()
dthogue said:We are currently booked for Pop for our December trip (me, DD's 16, 13 and 7) - I have read previously that the A/C is on a sensor and shuts off when there is no motion in the room. Any truth to that? I like to keep my room cool and would very uncomfortable to come back to a warm room or to wake up in the middle of the night sweating. Please help - I'm honestly considering swtiching to a moderate, but don't really want to spend the extra $$$.
Thanks,
