My sister just booked a package at the Pop Century for the end of August! My parents and I stayed there last August and had a room in the 50's section facing the lake! Our room was literally the first or second down in this picture

(from Tyler's site). Can someone tell me the room numbers of any of those so I can reccomend them to my sister?

Thanks!

Maybe this Pop Rooms Layout Map can help you out. Which building was it, #3 Tramp? If it was, the rooms in that north wing, 1st floor, facing the lake are: 3113 to 3124.

With my annual pilgrimage to worship THE MOUSE almost 2 weeks away (I cant stand the waiting anymore :earsboy: ) I am starting to write the MOST IMPORTANT list of all.....MY Comfort Food list!

This list contains all the JUNK FOOD I need in order to SURVIVE my 7 night stay. Peanut butter, Strawberry jam, Oreos, Dipsy doodles, Hershey bars, etc...and the most important item (for I would totally freak  without these) ENTERMANNS CHOCOLATE COVERED DOUGHNUTS!

(I actually packed a suitcase of these to go to the UK one year...Entermanns doughnuts work like money over there!)

Upon my arrival to the Everything POP last year, they were selling ENTERMANNS products (I swear a tear came running down my cheek when I saw the ENTERMANNS LOGO @ WDW, for I knew I was truly HOME :earboy2: )...However they had all the other stuff (ALL GREAT/GOOD) but not the MOST MAGNIFICENT JUNK FOOD ITEM EVER MASS PRODUCED...their Diamond in the line of cake products, the most beloved Chocolate Covered Doughnut!!!

Soooooooooooooooooooo....Do they still sell Entermanns products @ the Everything POP?..and most specifically (I bow my head) THE CHOCOLATE COVERED DOUGHNUT?

Thanks

ps. Does anyone know how to open a box of Entermanns Doughnuts, without totally destroying the box? You think after all these years I could figure that out!

Thank you for that mouthwatering description. I have been missing something in my WDW trips and didn't even know it ... until now. I shall remedy that deficiency on my next trip. Unfortunately I can't do that until October. Is this a local product limited to Disney or the Orlando area?

One more question? Should I get these doughnuts before or after I've had my Dole Whip pineapple floats? :earsboy:

YOU WELCOME!

ENTERMANNS WAS A NEW YORK CITY COMPANY (THATS WHERE I GREW UP)...THEY MASS PRODUCE ALL KINDS OF CAKES. THEY WERE EXTREMLEY POPULAR AS I GREW UP...BUT THEY WERE ONLY SOLD REGIONALLY IN THE NYC AREA. THROUGHT THE YEARS THE HAVE EXPANDED ALONG THE EAST COAST. WHEN I MOVED TO THE POCONOS (90 MILES FROM NYC) IN 1990, THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY ENTERMANNS PRODUCTS HERE. I USE TO DRIVE TO NYC EVERY WEEK TO GET MY FIX....AND VISIT MOM! NOW THEY ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE (supply & demand).

THEY ARE JUST PLAIN YELLOW CAKE DOUNGHUTS (VERY LIGHT) WITH A THIN HARD DARK CHOCOLATE COATING. NOTHING FANCY...JUST DELICIOUS...and addicting! THEY ALSO MAKE A FRENCH CHEESE CAKE & CINNAMON BUNS "TO DIE FOR"!

IF YOU ARE FROM NYC....ENTERMANNS PRODUCTS ARE A STAPLE ITEM IN YOUR KITCHEN!

HAVE THEM BEFORE,DURING AND AFTER YOUR DOLE WHIP....HOWEVER THEY ARE BEST WITH EITHER A GOOD CUP OF CAWFEE( see i am from nyc) OR A ICE COLD GLASS OF MILK!...HEAVEN! :goodvibes

I always thought it was ENTEMANNS...no "R"; maybe I'm thinking of a different company...white box with blue cursive name? They make the best little chocolate chip cookies, too! Had them at ASMo last summer...

That'd be the one.

And I love those doughnuts too! So happy to know I can get my fix at WDW.

Ah! Being from LA (Lower Alabama) I wouldn't have known about them. However, I will watch for them more carefully. I do recognize the name so I must have seen them. A good cup of 'cawfee' sounds like just the right combination. As I recall your original question was ... are they still available at Everything Pop? Hope so! But I can't find out until late October. I'm counting down the days. Now I have another reason to anticipate my next trip ... as if I needed another reason. Somebody who as been there recently tell us if they were available when you were there. I would assume (yeah, I know) that they would be.

I thought it was Entenmann's with an "N".

I wonder if it's different.

Lizzydoll73 is correct. Note the extra 'n'. Makes it even more difficult to pronounce! Add dot com after it to visit their official website and to see what products are available in your area (or another area). Register for free to do a search. I believe their search engine will tell you how soon the product was delivered to the stores (I did a search and it revealed that the product was delivered to stores near me within the last 3 business days. WOW!). Their mini chocolate chip cookies (soft) ARE to die for!!!! I remember being on a road trip years ago with a box of those cookies. I went through a whole box of those before I went 20 miles! Nowadays, I'm more into 'moderation' ;) Enjoy.

If we arrive at Pop at 8pm but have to leave immediately to get to Cirque can I just drop the bags at the baggage area for holding until we return around 10pm? Anyone know?

Can anyone tell me what building is the closest to Goofy's Pop Jet area? We are staying at POP Century in September, and when I was showing my five year old pictures of where we are staying she went crazy over the pictures of Goofy's Pop Jet area. It would be great if we could get a room close to this area.

Thanks in advance. :)

It's between building 5 (60's) and building 6 (70's) You could stay just about anywhere in the 70's and you will walk past the pop jet area on the way to Classic Hall. I had a lake view room (6458). You'll love staying at Pop and so will your DD 5 year old.
