I brought Sun detergent from home that I picked up for a $1 at a Dollar store it did 8 loads and bring fabric sheets just stick some in a ziploc.I think they had more than 1 kind of detergent but am not sure .You'll love the pools at Pop. In fact you'll love everything !!!

Walmart has tiny bottles of All Small and Mighty (which I use anyway) for $1.27 in the trial sizes. It does 2 loads. I've already bought one for our Nov. trip!

Okay, I found this thread and am hoping that if I post my question someone in their infinite wisdom will know the answer. I have tried to read every page but somewhere in the middle my brain went numb and I started skipping pages...
We will be at WDW in 2 weeks:banana:  and I need to know if there is somewhere that I can access the internet (for free) so that I can file my partial unemployment claim. [Yes, I am underpaid at the job I took so that I wouldn't be out of work longer than a month! I gave myself that time limit and this was the best offer I had so I took it.] My brother-in-law is planning on taking his laptop to download his photos so I just need a free access point -- it would take a whopping 5 minutes. Can anyone help me???
BTW, anyone know if there are lifevests to use at POP and the water parks? Or should we invest in one and stuff it in the suitcase, and pray it doesn't get lost?!

Just a few more days till we check in at Pop again! I'm getting excited!

I don't know of any place at WDW to get free internet access but you can pay for access. Check out this link for more info... http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/internet.htm

POP does have lifevests at the pool areas but definitely bring your own if you are more comfortable with it. :) Sorry but I don't know about the water parks.

Mom of Princess....Sorry don't know about the internet access but I do know they have lifevests there!!! I am also going on July 21!!!:cool1:

I thought it was 10 bucks a day to have internet access. I doubt you will find it for free anywhere.

There is internet inside your room at POP sorry I've never used so I do not know the cost (same as a phone call??).

There are life jackets available at both the pool and the waterparks.

Have a good time!

there are lifevest at Pop but as far as free access to the internet no sorry not that i am aware of. I know that its 4.99 for an hour or 9.99 or 24 hour usage if that helps. Maybe ask one of the CM's when you get there or call ahead to Pop and see if they can help you.

Year signs? I've noticed the year signs posted at Pop and I'm thinking about a game for our group in September. Does anybody know if there is a list or something of all of those signs?

I thought I read or heard that there is free wireless somewhere in DTD, I don't know for sure - maybe post the question on another board (theme parks?) and see if they know. Otherwise if it's a quick thing, maybe it would be worth paying for an hour.

We arrive at Pop one week from tomorrow! :cool1:

I stumbled across some awesome Disney curtains that I plan to hang across the doorway between the bed area and the sink area so I won't disturb anyone when I'm getting ready in the morning (like at POFQ).

Can anyone tell me how long my pressure curtain rod needs to be to fit across that doorway? From pictures it looks to be about 5 or 6 feet across. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!
Kristie :)

twinboysmom, did someone do this before and give you the idea? Because we just returned from our first stay at Pop and there is VERY little room between the doorway where you would hang the curtains and the sink. Much less than PO. Getting dressed in there would have to be some kind of magic trick unless you duck under the shelf. However, if your intention is simply to block light and sound from the sink, you sould be all set. Great idea!

Hi,, I know that all the McDonalds over here have free wireless internet access, so its probably the same over there?? Perhaps that is where the free internet at DTD comes in?
May be worth calling in for a cup of coffee? :surfweb:

I have never heard of it at our Mcdonalds, but I live in a small town area, so maybe some do?

I may be committing a sin here with this question, but here goes. One of the days we are going to a "marine life theme park" which shall remain nameless. We're not renting a car, so I was wondering about transportation. I know you can get a bus from DTD that will take you there, but heard that was pretty pricey. I found the Lynx bus system, which I think is the FL public transportation, that we can get from the Ticket & Transportation center (is there only one - by the Poly?) for a couple of bucks for all 4 of us. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
