We ordered a styrofoam cooler for $7 from garden grocer,worked great, we passed it on to someone at the pool as we left fo home

DUH, why didn't I think of that? Each year I take a cooler. I line it with two trash bags before filling it with ice. Each year the darn thing leaks.

Since I'm placing a order with gardengrocer, I can just add a styrofoam cooler to the list.

You can place an order online gardengrocer.com and they will deliver it your resort (or maybe to the room???)

Hi. Just found this thread. I added a couple days onto our Thanksgiving trip. I made online reservations at Pop. Do I have to wait until I get there to make my requests or can I call and request them now. Example-building, smoking preference.

You can add your request now.

disneyjunkie......we bought 2 styrofoam coolers last year and 1 broke and the one leaked real bad....we had to put it in the bathtub for the 2 weeks! LOL! so be creful!

Hey all, sorry it took a few days to get on here..my DH lost his cellphone in MGM, been dealing with that...anyway on to POP
Once again it was great, check-in went very smoothly, we checked in around 1:00pm, rooms were ready, we couldn't get the 50's like requested or our connecting rooms wouldn't have close to my sister who traveled with us, but that is ok, to make sure we were all close together they put us in the 90's, right there close to the pool!! Kids loved it, youngest DS loved being close to PacMan(LOL)
Rooms were clean and non-smoking, one of our rooms did smell like smoke when we got there, but mousekeeping was great, right away they brought up a santitizer, before we new it, smell was gone!
Mousekeeper was so sweet, the second day when we got back from MK, a cute little washcloth Easter bunny was in the kids window! Plus our DD was so fascinated that they made a toothbrush holder out of the towel, also made the washcloths into fans! They loved it!
We had a very comfortable enjoyable time. Sometimes you can't help, but think that being so busy during spring break that maybe it would be more hectic, yes it was busy, but overall, the CM's and mousekeeping was so sweet and made our stay very enjoyable!
Our next trip, it would be difficult to even think about staying anyway else!!

Pop has new mugs! They are super cute, but I wish that "Pop Century" were written somewhere on them.

I LOVE the new design!

Cant wait to get one. I did not buy much of anything for myself last year and the mugs were one of the few things I actually got for me so this will be great!

Do they still have 2 style mugs to choose from? The one shown in the photo is the skinny mug. Do they have the rounder mugs too?

I read somewhere in that other post that the only type of YOAMD mug offered is the tall, skinny (travel) mug. So far, the only mugs we've bought are the chunky ones, and I'm willing to give this style a try (though our next Pop trip isn't until 08 and I'll miss this mug because it's dated 07--I imagine that a new mug will be introduced for 08 since these ones are dated).

I also read that there are 3 handle colors, but the lids are all blue.

I like the YOAMD mugs, and I like the fact that they changed the mug, but I'm disappointed that Pop and the All Stars have the same mugs. It's nice when the mug design ties in with the resort. I wonder if the mods and deluxes are going to start seeing new mugs, too, or if changing the mug every year is going to be a value thing? Maybe they are trying to crack down on people using old mugs on trips?

It feels so real now that I've got my ME tickets. I'm getting very excited. I've requested top floor, 50's, lakeside but I know I'd be happy anywhere too. On Sunday we get to say "I'm going to Disney next month!"

We were in the 50s section Building C overlooking the lake. We had a view from there.
