Thanks Tyler,

That was the same information I got from you before, for a later time, but the way everything changes I just wanted to be sure.

I read about you not wearing purple pants any more, and I really hope you are enjoying your new "position". Hope it's allows a better schedule for school. Will still miss you at the Pop, though... and I am sure transortation does as well.

I'm trying to cut my time down on these boards... but as we all know, they're quite addicting!!!

Right now they alternate between cream and light green. Soon I might add gray or tan to the mix.

I'm sure the answer to this question is in here somewhere, but I'm having no luck with searching. I don't drink much coffee, but I am a tea freak. Does anyone know anything about tea at Everything Pop? Is it just Lipton tea bags, or do I have a chance at getting a decent bag of Earl Grey? If it is just Lipton, do you think they'd mind if I brought my own cup and tea bag, and used some of the hot water from the beverage station? (I know it seems silly to worry about a little hot water, but you never know!)

I love tea, too!

I had tea everynight I was at Disney. I didn't actually buy any tea there, but brought my own tea bags from home. (Something my mother taught me at a young age.) I didn't bring a cup so I had to buy those disposible hot liquid cups. Sometimes the CM's would charge me (I want to say like 80 cents) and sometimes they wouldn't.

And this is not a silly question! I suffer from a few conditions that make me stiff and hard for me to sleep. The tea I drink helps me to relax so my body can rest each night.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. :)

That's excellent news! I was actually thinking that I would buy some cups and lids at Super Target on the way to Pop if I could just cadge some hot water, but it's good to know that I could also buy a disposable cup there.

I have paid extra for a prefered room.. I know this means we will be in the 60's building. I have a bad foot and i am trying to cut down on walking. What room numbers should i ask for. I do not want a really noisey room either.

Thanks for the help

Hello!! I have a quick question.....can you use your refillable mugs at the pool bar of the main pool???

I don't think so...

Anyways, it wouldn't make much sense, as the pool bar is no more than a 1 min. walk to the food court...

Hope this helps! :)

Can you fill up your ice chest before leaving at POP or do i need to buy a small bag of ice? Its just a small one not large at all.

Yes, you can use the ice machines there to fill up your ice chest. We have done this a couple of times.

Peanutgirl,
I was having some walking difficulties as well. I have read that it is best to request "close to the elevator due to a member of our group having difficulty walking". That is what I did and even though we checked in at 10 pm, we were 5 doors from the elevator. I think if you give the CMs a reason why you are requesting what you are requesting, they are more likely to make sure you get it.

Good luck! We were in room 4221 which did not overlook the pool but was on the 2nd floor of the Playdough preferred building. :)

Dear Geety,

How far is the play Dough from the food court and buses?

Thanks for all the help

I'm not Geety, but I can answer this.....

The Play doh building is one of the two building closest to classic Hall. But, areas of it are further from Classic Hall than the corners of some of the other buildings. It is a preferred building and is $10 more a night for that building.

Somebody tell me if I'm understanding this right--when we check in with DME at the airport, they precheck us into the hotel?? Also what is the best way to request a certain building--call or fax--and how many days before should I do that?

Thanks for all the info.

If you have looked at the resort map, the PlayDough building (building A) is to the right of the pool, as you exit Classic Hall, versus Baloo being to the left of the pool. (an excellent map can be found here - http://www.kingdom-travel.com/Walt_Disney_World_Resorts/_ResortAssets/Pop_Century/Disney_Pop_Century_Resort_Map.pdf )

While I understand that the ends of some of the buildings are closer to the food court/main building, when you have difficulty walking, the steps are out of the question. Requesting close to the elevator was the safest request for me. I didn't want to be at the end of the building on level 4, even if I was right next to Classic Hall - I couldn't do the stairs. We also wanted to avoid floor level because of the noise factor. I think our room worked out great. :)
