I believe the third adult in a room adds $10 per night.

Would your 2yr old sleep in a pack 'n play?

geetey said:
Someone could share the bed with the 2 yr old, or you could have a crib (it will be tight in the room!) and 1 adult gets a bed alone, while the dh and dw sleep in the other full size bed. That's really the only configurations available, unless you want to get 2 rooms.

Thanks for the info.
Looks likes its doable - Hurray!

Can't wait for the trip and to become a disney pro:)

Just got back from 7 nights at Pop on Sunday! We loved it! We were in the 70's section, room 6410, which was on the 4th floor, and VERY close to Classic Hall. If we looked out our room, we could see Classic Hall and Goofy's Pop Jet Playgroud on the left, and on the right we could see the Mickey phone and Big Wheel. It was very quiet too, which was a plus after a long day in the parks. I think next time we might stay in the 50's, we were closer to the Hippy Dippy pool which was very busy, but the Bowling Pin pool was almost deserted, and was nice and quiet :teeth: If anyone has any questions, let me know!

Glad you had a great time Amanda! Your room location sounds ideal. I hope we are as fortunate! 26 more days and we'll be there!

Can someone explain the lime green thing to me. I've heard of a few people wearing lime green shirts and so on...what does this represent? :confused3

Thanks

A few years ago someone suggested a way to spot (and therefore meet) other DISers at WDW and lime green was the chosen color! So that's why you see lots of people referring to wearing lime green!

Hi! Ths is my first post, so please be patient...
I have read almost this entire post. It is AWESOME! Thank you so much for maintaining it. I have gotten so much out of it.
BUT, I am now totally confused as to what my room request should be!

I am relying on the experts here...we are going to the POP for the last week of May. It is my DH, DD6 and DD3 first trip so I am trying to plan some details and have a good general knowledge before we get there. I know that it is only a request but can you give me some advice as to what my best room requests should be. Obviously, I would like to be as close to Classic Hall as possible (as everyone would!) As I said I have DD6 and DD3, so the pools will be a big thing also. I have learned that upper floors are probably better especially for noise. I thought that the 50's would be the best request but now I saw some posts that if you are at the far end of the building it is not good either! :earseek:
PLEASE HELP! I would just like to know what you recommend..give me any suggestions you can. Any advice you can give would be great. :earboy2: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE WITH A NEWBIE!!

Hi Family First Timer! I'll offer what little I can. I made ressies yesterday for the Pop in March '06 (I'm a planner!) Hopefully when you call you'll get a nice CM who was as helpful as mine (Ilisa?) was! We stayed at ASMo last year and my requests were honored (also 9 month in advance), and this time we wanted to try Pop. When I called yesterday I requested: 50's, non-smoking, top-floor, facing Epcot/water/fireworks. The girl knew exactly what I wanted and typed in all of my requests. (FYI...she said this was building #12, no longer an A, B, C thing.) We have 3 rooms requested and she didn't think it would be a problem. It's kind of short notice for later this month, but I bet you could get most of your requests met. :) Hope this helps, and have a great trip!!!

Liz and Geetey,
We will also be there at the same time. We will have a lime green bandana (SP). :bounce: Hope all have a wonderful time. We can't wait to see POP up close.

We'll keep an eye out for that lime green bandana! Here's hoping for good weather for all of us too! :sunny:

I agree, Liz! Here's hoping for clear skies without *too* high temps. :sunny:

I have a lime green Mickey head on my red Disney backpack! Look for us in the food court, pin trading in the gift shop, or at the pool!

Just popping in to say hi to all Pop Century folks :) I will be there come tuesday but for only one night :( I enter the college program again the next day. Anyone gonna be there tuesday? I'll have my lime green badge on my laptop backpack.

I will be at POP in July and have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know if there are a certain amount of hangers in each room? Can I request more if I need them?
2. Is there an outlet near the sink area so I can plug in my hair dryer and use the mirror that hangs on the outside of the bathroom door to see myself while I'm drying my hair?
I know....silly questions.... :earboy2:

Yes to both questions :) Although there were plenty of hangers already there, we had at least 10 or 15.

Are there ceiling fans in Pop rooms? I know probably not, but I love a fan.

I am booked. I got all of my paper work today from the local AAA unit. I am stoked about this trip like I haven't been in years. I always love going to WDW but for some reason this year is different. I haven't figured out why yet. Maybe because I am staying on property instead of a condo offsite. Maybe because thisis the first time in five years it will be just me and my family instead of people going with us. At the same time, I am confused. I am getting calls from the school for my kids to go to summer school. I said that will be fine but they will miss one week. The school system is saying that is unacceptable. If they can't commit to the whole six weeks, then they can't go for one week.? The school system and government is basically saying it is all or nothing. Does that make sense? Our vacation has been planned since February. They are expecting me to change our plans just to work around theirs. Any suggestions??? :confused3 ::MickeyMo :guilty: :grouphug:

Help! We are going to be staying at Pop starting May 25th. How far is it to walk to the parks from the bus stops? Where is the drop off for each park? Would it be easier for us to drive and park our car in the lots? We have 4 kids ages 17 mo. to 5 yrs. We will have 1 double stroller and 2 unbrella strollers and at least one diaper bag.

I am driving from Fort Lauderdale and I do not think I will be getting off on I-4, could you tell me how to get to pop century. Thanks (leaving in four days)
