Is it just me, or do those double beds look smaller and smaller each time you check in?

If you go during the free dininig, and do it up right, those beds will be smaller by the time you leave!

I read something about the override too. You could always call maintenance if it gets too hot. I worried about that after reading it here as well but when we went last year our room was freezing and it never shut off while we were gone. I kept it up as high as we could get it which was perfect for us. I would think the 4th floor would be the hottest and maybe that is why some people feel it is too hot. I wouldn't worry about it though just call for help if you need it.

We were on the 4th floor and no problems witha/c at all. Beds were finr alittle hard but I slept fine. I heard no loud toilets except ours. In fact I heard nothing from other rooms. I have to wonder about the people complaining about these things!!

What kind of laundry detergent and dryer sheets are sold in the laundry room? And how much are they? How much does it cost to wash and dry a load?

When you mention mailing things to yourself at POP are you referring to sending your own packages or just ordering things to be delivered there?? Do you just ask the desk attendant when you check in for it??

I don't know how much laundry detergent cost. I measure mine and put them zip lock bags. It's $2.00 a load. The dryer is the same. It runs 20 minutes, I think. Don't forget to look for the hidden mickey in the laundry room.

I mailed a package of stuff from home when we stayed at Pop. Mainly food and some toiletries that we didn't want to pack. I spent about $25 to mail it, and saved lots by not having to buy breakfast and snacks! (we were on a very tight budget for that trip). I asked about the package when we checked in, but it didn't actually arrive until the next day. They called our room to let us know it was there--very early in the morning, I might add. Hmmmm...made me think it was there the day before and maybe they just didn't see it when they looked the first time. The resort will hold the package for you if it gets there before you do.

We had a package shipped from Amazon.com (free shipping if you spend over $25) and it was waiting for us when we checked in. Very easy to do.

I also packed some detergent in ziploc bags and then put the bag into a big ziploc. Worked great! On a few afternoons when we were at the pool, I would put in a load of laundry and then sit at the pool. I could even see the dyer from where I was sitting so I could tell if it had finished.

Can you tell me how to find the address of where to send a package. Did you use UPS? How far in advance do you mail it. We were going to try to pack a lot of food (I have a child on a special diet), and mailing stuff ahead of time sounds easier.

You might be able to request hair dyer...not sure .

LOL! Sorry but it is a Yes to the hairdryers! They are mounted on the wall in the sink area. Yes to iron and ironing board.

Mail your package so that it arrives around 3-4 days before your arrival date. Then, if it is a day or two late, it won't matter.

Yes there is hair dryers but they are really weak! I decided not to bring mine from home since they had them in the room, but they really are only good for thin hair or a fluff dry. If you want something with force, bring your own. Next time I am.

Jack Sparrow, GUEST, Arriving 6/1/07
c/o POP CENTURY Resort
1050 Century Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-1000

They requested GUEST and ARRIVING info to be in the first line of the address, versus the comment area (say if you are ordering from an online vendor) so it is very clearly displayed. We were told the Confirmation number is not necessary.
