I am here now!!!!
We requested the Illuminations view, specifically rooms 2450-2460, as shown in post 1. We got 2458! The problem is a tree blocks the view from our window, but just a few steps down is the view of EPCOT and I can also see TOT.
It is sooooo quiet here! The bowling pin pool is on the other side of the building. There is also a parking lot within view. I like this area a lot, except for what seems like a longer walk after a long day in Disney.
I faxed my request 7 days prior to our arrival.

If I may ask how fast is the internet at POP? Is it dial up or what? I know you have to pay but Im curious if its even worth it?

From my experience (I have FIOS at home) it is pretty fast. I don't notice any problem. It was easy to set up and this is just for today since we are chilling out and taking it a bit easier.

We have had great bus service to and from Pop! From DHS at 4 pm we were all alone in the way back to Pop! We have never waited more than 20 minutes so far (knocking on wood). Most waits are 5 minutes or less. Last night after wishes we were back to Pop by 11. They had 2 bus lines at MK (18 is standard and 17 was open too) and they load 3 at one time after a short wait (2 side by side in line 17) The wait was longer due to loading of wheelchairs and scooters, but that is expected. We are thrilled!
FYI: I asked the driver that took us form DHS is gas prices are effecting Dis buses and he said not at all. "Gas is not an issue for Disney. We buy more gas than many gas stations do!)

In your request, did you say Epcot view or Illuminations view? Just wondering because I've also requested an Epcot view room (with a block of room numbers specified) for my upcoming trip. And I was planning on faxing before arrival also. Here's hoping that I get the "perfect" room!

IMO the perfect EPCOT view would be room 2453 (literally just walked down the hall for you) I requested Illuminations view but I also specifically stated rooms 2450-2460 as mentioned in post 1. I have to say that I like it but it is a far walk at the end of the day with 2 tired young ones. We wish we would have asked for closer to Century Hall and walked over to view EPCOT, for what it is worth

I would say thats fine...This is a pretty simple request and it SHOULD be granted. Ive have made way more detailed requests and have had them granted so I would say this is fine.

Does POP have an elevator for all it's buildings? I really prefer being on the top floor so heavy-footed folks above me don't drive me nuts, but I don't want to hup 6 suitcases upstairs!

I know you can use 2 adult Table Service to have one delivered, but I'm willing to do the walking myself if that will only take Quick/Counter Service credits.

Are you talking about the incomplete Legendary Years side of POP? over the century Gap Bridge? I'll have to keep my eye out if thats the case we arrive in 9 days! I'm doing the single digit dance! Can't wait!!!

I have never heard you could use tableservice for it and have it delivered. But you can use two counter services to get a pizza for pick up. DH and I have done this. You get the pizza, two drinks and two desserts included.

You could also call somewhere else (like Giordano's) and have a pizza delivered. You wouldn't be able to use the dining plan, but you would get much better pizza.

We actually really liked Pop's pizza....but then again, we live in Texas where there is no such thing as good pizza
