I don't know about the aerobed, but are facing the same thing with our DS, we are renting a toddler bed from A baby's best friend. I think it is 78 bucks for a week. I hear that a pack and play will fit in between the beds, so i think a toddler bed will as well, they are about the same width.

I am wondering how much bigger than a pack and play this Aerobed is. Typically, we had put the pack and play over by the connecting door, and there was plenty of room for it there. I guess some people put it in between the beds? I was hoping maybe the Aerobed would fit by that connecting door, but would hate to spend money on something that won't work. :)

I think I saw where someone asked about luggage carts. You can usually get them up front. Sometimes you are asked to leave a driver's license or something so that you return it in a timely manner. I have a small cart that I carry in my car so that I can put the smaller items on it when unpacking and just pull the big suitcases by their handles and wheels. I hope this helps.

There are no bell services/bellhops at Pop. ( I thought this was tru of all values as well) They do have carts you can use. If you REALLY need help, they will call someon to help you, but there is no official bell services. We found the carts down pon the far end of the lobby, near where ME drops off the guests.

There are NO cots/rollaways at pop either. I have heard in a few rare cases where one was brought in. I beleive htese are brought in from another resort for rare incidences. Like they are over booked and only have King room available. But you cannont request one. Remember too that the beds are not movable. They are attached to the floor, so what you put in there has to fit. Airmatress will smash in between the beds if they are too wide. Pack and plays fit, but I don't see how you could fit more than 1 in there. I'm sure it could be done if yo utried, but there would be no walking room.

Glad to know someone could clarify this i should probably pre my Husband, Brother and Dad as they will have to deal with this part of things, the ladies normally handel check in at least we will know exactly what to do when we get there and were to look

thanks much

I suggest you go to Graco and Aerobed's websites and look for the dimensions of each product.

Okay. I did that. Comparisons weren't looking so good, but I've actually posted this on the family board as well. I discovered someone who has used a ready bed in a value resort room, and also someone who has used a twin sized air mattress. At Pop, they moved the table to accomodate it.

Now, when I compare the dimensions of the ready bed 8H x 61L x 26W, and the aerboed for kids 50 x 25 x 10 inches, that's very similar, so I'm thinking at this point either would fit.

Would love more opinions though! :thumbsup2

TarzansKat, sounds positive so far that there are some options!!

I also did a quick glance on Graco's site so I could include the approximate measurement between the two immovable double beds on Post #1. It stated the Pack 'n Play is 28.3", and the previous poster mentioned there was barely 1" on either side. So that's a good guideline.

As for the Aerobed for Kids, keep in mind that the sleep surface is 25", however, there's a surrounding safety cushion as well. So the official overall measurement is 60" X 36"W X 8"H.

Good point. I am thinking with his sleeping technique, this would be better, but am hoping someone else could weigh in if they've done it. Thanks for your research, I really appreciate it. This is why I love the DIS! :thumbsup2

I wonder if I could pick all your brains for a minute. For those of you who have toddlers, or have traveled with them, has anyone tried to use the Aerobed for Kids in a Pop room?

DS3 is much too big for a pack n play crib. I have requested bed rails for one of the beds, but he sleeps like a fish out of water! Don't know who he got that from! ;)

At any rate, I know most likely, he'd end up picking me or DH to sleep with, and I'm not sure how well this is going to work. He's very good about sleeping in his toddler bed at home so I don't want to go backwards on vacation, KWIM?

Anyway, here's a link to it as well, perhaps some of you experts could take a look and tell me if you think it's worth it. It seems to have excellent reviews.

Aerobed for Kids

Sorry if this has already been addressed, the search function isn't working for me. :goodvibes

I don't know about the kids AeroBed but I bought an adult twin AeroBed from Amazon. I got it for $30 with free shipping. I'm using it in two weeks and just blew it up today. :thumbsup2 I plan on moving the table and chairs to in front of the window and putting the bed along the "TV" wall.

Thanks so much for your response. It makes me wonder if I should try the twin instead, that's so much cheaper than the kids one! I'll have to pop on over to Amazon and take a look. :thumbsup2

I don't think that is tru. When we got them, we just walked to where they wer and took one. No one was around or asked us anything. And when we got of ME, they were just waiting outside, with no one around them either. Maybe during a really busy time they may, but honestly, they are big and bulky, so who wants to keep them any longer than you have to.

I was going to suggest a twin as well. It's much cheaper and we know they fit. I thought the bed looked to wide too.

You may try your local Wal-Mart. I bought one several years ago there for around $20.00. I think they may be in the camping supplies.

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely check WalMart, I have some errands to run later this week, so I'll let you guys know if I can find one there. :goodvibes

:goodvibes We just purchased the twin air mattress at K-mart. Thanks for the idea of moving the chairs and table by the window and putting it against the wall. I was wondering where I was going to put it..

We are going to Pop in mid June and I was wondering if someone can tell me if the parking lots ever fill up and if so which ones? And also whats the best building to request (standard room) if I want the easiest walk to the parking lot?
