Your room request should be made with your reservation. So you should call right away and have them add it.

My thoughts briefly on requesting certain things from POP prior to arrival:

I had asked for:

50's Fourth Flr facing the lake
King Bed ....

What I ended up getting:

50's facing the water but on the 2nd floor..

3217 was the room it was a double double...

I was just as happy with that then anything else... Our Mousekeeper was great and they definitely do their best to make you happy...

One thing I've learned too... those small 4 cup coffee pots do survive the TSA screeners and the Baggage Handlers from Jet Blue :):cool1:

I get to leave for our first stay at POP on Monday. I guess I should pack!!! LOL

Hey Tina! We'll be arriving on Tuesday. We'll be the room with the Boston Bruins sticker on the window. It's our 4th(?) stay at the Pop. We are meeting our family down there and my sister and I are running in the Disney half marathon. Can't wait!!!

This trip is super exciting. My husband and I are celebrating our 3rd anniversary. I'm celebrating finishing graduate school. DSis and I are running in our first endurance race. And.... it's a family reunion trip! This will be the first trip (anywhere!) for my new special needs foster brother. He's been in the system for 28 years (group homes and such). We told him Christmas morning that we're all going to Disney World. He didn't really understand at first and was much more excited about the train set we got him, but now he's bouncing off the walls asking when he'll get to see Mickey. It will be his first time leaving VT, riding on a plane and going on vacation. He is very excited! I can't wait to see his face when he first steps into the Magic Kingdom. He's going to love the Pop. I also can't wait to show my family around my favorite place in the world. The last time my parents were in WDW was about 20 years ago.

Pop Century, here we come!

I will look for your room while I am there. We'll have a couple things on our door. A sign that has five mickey heads and a sign that says represent my Canadian husband and Children. Are you big Briuns fans then? I was able to catch the Winter classic game and was so happy when the Briuns were able to come back and win it. Bruins are my ds4's fav team. He calls them the "B's" it's so cute. well I will look for you there. If you see our door feel free to knock. We might be there. It'll be cool to meet another DISser.

I can't wait!!

Question: Does the Everything Pop store sell half gallons of milk? I don't recall seeing anything of the sort on my last visit but perhaps it was hidden in the food court area?

so if you request 50s building, lake view--would that be the Tramp building? Can you see anything nice from there?

we are there in just 2 weeks! We requested connecting rooms, building 3, lake view. crossing our fingers!

and even bigger surprise when we get home, we will be able to pick up our new puppy!!!!!! Haven't told the kids, though they know we will be getting one after our trip sometime.

Here's a picture. we are still thinking of names. any suggestions are welcome!

Or Jukebox building. We had 50's, 4th floor, lakeview and could see the Fireworks at Epcot. I even saw the fireworks at Magic Kingdom one night. The other neat thing was that we had our van with us so this area was close to the parking lot.
