OMG Kellie all of this is great news!!!! What a perfect start for the new year!!!!!!

I'll celebrate along with you!!
Being disabled is never more aggravating than in times like this. Everyone around is up to their eyeballs with similar problems so we do what we can.
House damage is so frightening and I agree with Maggie about snow!
And, to put it in perspective, you hear about elderly people dying in heat waves every summer.
It is how I grew up!
Since power went out Thursday night my brother got his back Sunday around 6PM and my sister is still out without an ETA on when it's coming back on today
It really looks like a war zone but it's weird because it can be totally different from one street to the next, there was no rhyme or reason the way the storm hit us. We were one of the lucky ones and didn't lose power but my siblings are only between 2 to 5 miles away from us. Many people are displaced and living in hotels miles away from their homes due to this storm and we are expecting an ice/snow storm Wednesday evening
I don't think there is ever anything you could say or do that would offend! You're just not that way.
I have lived most of my life in the north and I am ready to try a longer growing season!
